Good Morning Lovelies,
A few weeks ago, I bravely decided to just cut my hair. Due to having natural curls, I get straggly looking ends easily, which can become super knotty. Experiencing this is a right pain, however, I didn’t want to pay £30 or more to just have them cut off. It honestly didn’t warrant that much.
There so, after watching a few YouTube videos I took the plunge. I have to say that I don’t think I did a bad job to be honest lovelies! They matched in length, all the horrid ends were gone and my hair brush glided through easier. I think I will continue to look after my hair on my own, as it saved so much time, money and worrying in the end.
After taking the scissors to my hair, I got thinking about what I do to look after my hair, as it has really been through a lot. When I was younger, it was super thick. Then it really thinned out when my illness was at its worst. Now still very thin in comparison, I have been able to give it back a bit of life. All through using the following products that I wanted to share with you all.
I hope that if you are finding or having the same issues these items can help you too…
L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Shampoo for Long, Damaged Hair, £2.25: Having only just converted to this in January, I am now never going back. Hardly using any product at all, this still makes the world of difference, as my hair looks, smells and feels better.
L'Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths Wonder Water 8 Second Hair Treatment, £5: Taking only eight seconds to work its magic, I apply this straight after shampooing instead of using a conditioner. With many conditioners weighing down my thin hair, this wonder water nourishes the lengths of my hair easily in no time at all.
L’Oréal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream, Leave-in Conditioner for Long Damaged Hair, £8: After washing my hair, I towel dry it for a few moments and then apply this cream to the ends before brushing it through. This cream smells amazing and has made my hair stronger too.
Barbie Hairbrush, £10: My mum got me this brush a few years ago from TruffleShuffle. Unfortunately they no longer stock it, yet, if it makes a comeback then definitely grab one lovely. Soft and gentle, it works a treat without damaging my scalp.
Thick Brown Pony Bands, £1: To finish off my hair, I plait it into the style of Wednesday Addams. When I was in school, I used to always have it in a pony tail. However, after asking a haircare expert, I started plaiting it more when they told me it was better for my hair. I love how many different styles I can now do with it during and after it’s been styled this way.
I didn’t realise how much the L’Oréal products had made such a difference until I was writing out what I used. This isn’t a plug or collaboration at all. I actually got the water product reduced in Tesco’s and picked up the conditioner cream when I couldn’t find another product anymore. Both are now a staple in my bathroom. My hair smells incredible and I love how soft it is now. I would definitely recommend them lovelies.
I love a good hair product, more than any make up item, so if you have any recommendations, please do let me know. I will definitely give them a go! I hope that the above can help you and your hair too lovelies!

Good Morning Lovelies,
January and February are often the months that most of us pick up a cold of some sort! I’m often the first in our family to get it, with most of my Christmas’ being spent nursing one out of my system. As I write this, it is only nine days until the big day in fact and I’ve treated an ear infection, which led to a congested runny nose. Oh the joys of winter!
Thankfully, I have tried many products and have now found the ones that have really helped me when battling a bug. From lip creams to soothing solutions, the following make me feel a bit more alive when my body screams zombie…
Aldi Pawpaw Ointment, £1.49: Do you ever find that your skin around your nose gets dry due to all the tissues you are using? Snap! This dupe of the famous brand is just as good, helping to return my skin back to normal. I apply it morning and night to help soften my skin again when it takes a battering from tissues and sick bug.
Asda’s Little Angels Vapour Bath, £1: The description on the product says to use this as a kind of bubble bath for your children when they are sick. I like to take it and place it into the corners of my shower. The steam hits it and the vapours come out, helping my blocked sinuses. I also use it as a kind of vapour rub shower gel, applying it to my chest, when I feel wheezing coming on. It clears it up right away.
Tesco’s Chewable Vitamin C, £1: I take two of these mostly every day to help build up my weakened immune system. Since starting them back in 2020, I have seen a very positive outcome. Apart from the odd head cold, I haven’t gotten seriously ill since being on them, which is a very good thing. Plus, with the added easy chewable element, they go down really easily.
Fisherman’s Friends Cherry Lozenges, 79p: Probably the most controversial one on the list. However, hear me out! My dad used these religiously to fight a sore throat and I’ve definitely come to agree with him. Whilst I’m not a big fan of the original taste, I don’t mind the cherry ones and will take one if needed when suffering from a cold or sore throat. They definitely do help hen it comes to breathing better.
EarCalm Spray, £8.79: Since I had my bad fall, I’ve had very bad problems with one of my ears. Often it will get blocked up or make my hearing weaker. Yet, when this happens, I simply use this spray and it heals it completely. My hearing comes back almost automatically. Any infections are gone and the wax buildup is broken down swiftly.
Otrivine Blocked Nose Relief Nasal Spray, £4.59: I use this a lot in the summer, when my hay fever gets bad, however, I have used it during colds and other nostril related problems. Getting to work super quick, I feel better in a matter of moments. I’ve even used it to treat migraines, which truly works in my opinion.
I’ve got a few other products I use which help lovelies. Yet, these are the ones that really make me feel better! Of course, everyone has different bodies, so these may not work for all of us lovelies, but if you discover that one of them does help I a, so glad. Just be prepared for those Fisherman’s Friends if you haven’t had them before aha!
What are some of your best cold busting products?

Good Morning Lovelies,
Lube probably isn’t the thing that you think would pop up on the blog, however, I have a good reason for it doing so!
For many, lubricants are brilliant when it comes to easing any uncomfortable situations when having sex. However, it also has many other uses that not many of us know about. Even when writing this post, I learnt a lot of new things about it. Many of which that can help in day to day life.
There so, when LUVISS kindly offered me the chance to try some of their luxury water/based lubricant (£22) out, I quickly said a very big yes and thank you! Especially when I found out that I can use it for the following alternatives…
Tame Fly-Away Hairs: If you are like me then you will suffer with little hairs all over the place on your head. Give it five minutes after I have styled it and they will be out. Especially as my hair grows stronger again, after thinning out for so long. Lubricants can be used to tame fly-aways as it reduces frizz, whilst increasing your hairs shine at the same time.
Stop Chaffing: Much like Vaseline, lubricants can be used to stop chaffing. Place into those areas that tend to rub and feel instant relief. When using the LUVISS product, you will also find that it has a lovely cooling effect, making it perfect for summer.
Remove Make Up: Instead of using wipes and other nasty chemicals, this water-based lubricants can be used to swipe away all those lotions and potions placed onto your face lovelies. All in a very gentle and moisturising manner. It’s also great in replacement of lip gloss!
Smooth and Shave: Due to the moisturising makeup of lube they can be used in replacement of shaving cream and gels. Simply place it on, shave and wipe away to have smooth as a baby’s bum skin.
Master A Massage: Whether it is with someone else or on your own, water-based lubricants like this are perfect when massaging someone or yourself. LUVISS doesn’t leave any sticky feelings behind, leading to super smooth skin without all the mess.
LUVISS is a fantastic lubricant lovelies, which has mastered the art of pure pleasure. Sexual or not. Available at Sephora in the UK, it is a little bit more in price compared to others, but from the moment the glass bottle is in your hand, you know you have a fantastic product to enjoy in endless ways! I promise!

Hello Lovelies,
It is safe to say that July did not bring the heatwave that we were all expecting! Whilst there was a few days of sunshine, it was a bit of a washout in regards to the temperature front. There so, when the news came that the summer heat was being brought to life in other ways, I was interested.
Tracklements, who are well known for their sauces and chutneys, have created three brand new hot sauces to raise temperatures galore. From Smokin’ Chipotle to Rocket Hot, their new products have been created to help bring a new kick to any dish. So, I had to put them to the test.
Grabbing my mum, a person that adores spice, I took a few tortilla chips and placed each sauce on to them. I didn’t tell her out of the three, which also includes the Sriracha Chilli one, which was which, allowing her to get the full force instantly.
Starting with the mild one first, she hinted that the smoky heat was lovely. Inspiring her to think up a recipe she would include it in, she stated that she would use it on or in chilli or chicken based dishes. My mum thought it would be a perfect sauce in fact for a burger.
The next one was the Sriracha based sauce. I knew this one would be a bit hotter, but hopefully not to bad for her. Placing it into her mouth, she found that the kick from it was almost automatic. Definitely hotter than the one before, but still perfect for nachos, chicken or beef based dishes she stated. She even stated that it could be a good sauce to mix into a shepherds or cottage pie for a hidden element.
Finally, we moved onto the hottest one. Now my mum can handle heat, but I was worried with how her mouth would take to a rocket level of spice. Filled with scotch bonnet chillies, the smell of the spice was strong. Even I could sense the heat on the small crisp.
She was shocked by how much the spices came out straight away. Stating that the sauce would be better mixed into a dish, such as a curry, she said she couldn’t have a lot of it, but that she really liked the bold flavour.
Priced at £3.75 each, the bottles are a great size and will last a long time. You don’t need much of them to make a dish have a little extra kick. However, I will have to admit that these should be avoided on a really hot day, because the spice could blown your mind.
Each bottle would look super fancy at any gathering, especially BBQs, when we finally get the sunshine back. Though, they are also perfect to mix into everyday dishes that need that extra zing. Tracklements have made sure that whilst the weather may not be heating up, their products will make sure you feel the temperatures rising perfectly!

Good Morning Lovelies,
With the summer upon us and the supermarkets filling up with new items to add to picnics and BBQs, the condiments aisle can be forgotten. However, it is time to forget the ketchups and the mustards, because a new chutney is in town. One that is going to spice up your life for sure!
Created by Tracklements, the team have made a rhubarb and ginger chutney, which is perfect with cheese, duck and even pate! Kindly, the group sent me one to try and when you live with a mum who is a huge fan of chutneys, who was I to say no.
Upon the chutney arriving, I wanted to make sure that my mum got the full flavour first. Using a plain cracker, I placed a teaspoon amount on it straight from the jar. Instantly I could smell the gorgeous ginger scent and knew my mum would be a fan. Something she definitely was!
Placing the cracker into her mouth, she moaned at the taste, before stating that it would work perfectly in a pork based burger or drizzled onto a kofta kebab. With plenty of cheese in our home, she then reached for a piece of cheddar and brie to try it on them.
She found that by mixing it with the salty taste of the brie she got a taste explosion. The rhubarb was perfectly sweet, but the added ginger made it tangy enough to remain savoury, making it perfect for many dishes or sides.
Neither of us had ever used or tried Tracklements before. Having seen them in the shops before, but never picking one up, I can safely say that they have changed our views on chutneys.
No longer will my family be going for the normal flavours. We will be delving into new, more vibrant, kinds. I already know that picnics and BBQs in our house will never be the same again now!
Check out Tracklements website lovelies to find out more about the new flavour or to discover what else they have available. From jams to marmalades, they really have it all. Plus, prices start at around £2.50, so you get great quality products for a brilliant price. It’s truly the sauce on top of a great sandwich!
