Let's Start With This One...

Good Morning Lovelies,

Valentine’s Day is a day to give your loved ones a special gift! Whether it be a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates or that perfect piece of jewellery, showing someone you care about them enough to know what they like is key! And that’s why you can’t go wrong with a piece of LEGO! Especially if it comes in the form of a beautiful bouquet of flowers!

From their new Wildflower set to the stunning Roses bouquet, there is a piece of LEGO love to be spread to all on Valentine’s Day, with these flower sets that will never die. Just like your love for one another! Here are my top five gifts that you just have to spend time building together and sharing the joy with this Valentine’s Day…

Flower Bouquet, £54.99: The original bouquet set, this beautiful pastel creation will bring endless amounts of love and adoration from those you give it to. Spend time building it together and place it somewhere you will both enjoy looking at it forever more.

Tiny Plants, £44.99: Want to spread the love around your home to always be reminded of it? These tiny succulents will allow you to do just that. Build them up and place them in different rooms to give them a tiny spark of LEGO loving.

Bouquet of Roses, £54.99: The ultimate flowers to mark your love for someone. This bouquet will never die like the ones in the shops, highlighting just how much you love someone. An endless love affair will be had when these are gifted.

Dried Flower Centrepiece, £44.99: Giving off the perfect autumn vibes, this set looks great in the middle of a table. Perfect for when you are having that special Valentine’s Day dinner.

Wildflower Bouquet, £54.99: Vibrant in colour and size, these beautiful flowers stand out wherever they are placed! They make your heart sore when you look at them. I have my bouquet next to my bed, after getting the set for Christmas, and it makes me smile as soon as I wake up.

The Botanical Collection at LEGO is one that is truly stunning! I’m very lucky that I can say that I have completed all of the current collection. However, I am hoping my secret admirer will gift me with the Bird of Paradise set if they can find it! If not, I may just have to spend my day building up a new fancy bouquet of my own creation!

Of course, LEGO have a load of other sets available, so make sure to check out their website to find the best present this Valentine’s Day! I’m sure that whoever you gift it to will be very happy and in love with it!

Good Morning Lovelies,

I’m going to be very frank with you all now! I used to be terrified of being single. Absolutely batshit scared. I used to think I was worthless. The freak show in my group of friends. The one with a lot of love to give but nobody to give it to. I felt horrendous and I think that caused a lot of my mental health problems.

Whilst watching my friends get boyfriends, have cheeky kisses at parties and flirt with boys, I felt like nobody wanted me. Being told I was the biggest one out of my group of friends completely knocked my confidence and so I didn’t try. Who was going to love me? Well, it turns out I was bloody wrong. I’m lovable, fun and a downright hun!

Whilst I may not love myself, I appreciate myself more now. And I bloody love being single! Don’t get me wrong, I sometimes wonder if anyone will ever love me. But I don’t let it get to me like it once did. I’m happy in my own company. I’m fine with a little flirt, a cuddle or two, however, I adore my bed to myself and the way I look after me.

Being single as you reach your 30s is deemed as being horrific. You may as well walk around bearing the sign of the devil to some. Yet, it’s not bad at all! You’re still so young. You still have so much to learn. You still have time to fall in love.

I’m so sick of people saying you have to have met the one by then. That you have to be married, with the white picket fence outside your house, two kids and a Labrador running around your feet. Why do we still have these ideas? My kind of love is a chaotic one and I love hearing about others chaotic ones too.

Don’t get me wrong, if you are in a relationship, I love hearing about the love people share as well. It’s a cute curiosity. But ultimately I just love the person. Single or paired up. And that is all that should matter this Valentine’s Day. Just love yourself, love being single or with someone, love the world for the good things in it. Forget the pressures and embrace the fun in your relationship status.

I’m going to be spending it with a bunch of couples. Just ones on my TV who make me love being single even more! I hope that whatever and whoever you are spending it with are equally fun too lovelies! Just remember being single is okay! Being in a couple is too! Just enjoy life for what it is with whoever it is with! And remember you don’t have to go on an app, island or endless date nights to enjoy it! Fluffy socks, a cosy chair and good times are all you need!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Before Christmas, nearing the end of the summer, I went to the Big Christmas Press Show. Whilst there, I saw a number of high tech items that I couldn’t help but be amazed by. You will all know by now how much I love a gadget! Whether it be a phone, TV or camera, I can’t get enough of them.

Heading to the bright yellow, red and black signed stall of Kodak, I could feel my childhood wonder coming to life. Holding and playing around with a number of new products, the team introduced me to the Kodak Printomatic Instant Print Camera. To say I liked it a lot would be an understatement.

Coming out in a whole range of colours, the team kindly sent me a pink one a few weeks later. Light in weight but bright in tone, the instant print camera has all the features of a normal camera. However what makes it so unique is the instant print quality.

With a 5MP image sensor, microSD card slot, optical viewfinder, a flash and inbuilt printer, which can produce waterproof, adhesive backed glossy prints in a matter of seconds, it is perfect for first time photographers and nostalgic fans.

The Kodak Printomatic is my first ever Kodak camera. Having admired them for years, it was amazing to finally have one in my hands. Picturing myself and my nephew using it, I imagine that it would be perfect to teach the little ones how to get the perfect shot. Plus, with pictures being able to be stored without having to be printed, I loved that I didn’t have to waste the paper on not so good pictures.

For me, the Printomatic is the perfect camera to capture those intimate moments with. Left out on the table at a wedding. Gifted to little ones to capture all the magic of Christmas. Half buried in the sand as the sun beams down on a group of friends taking a picture to last for years to come. It’s the camera that creates the images that fill the pages of memory books.

Seriously, I was so impressed that I couldn’t believe it was only £50 to buy on the Kodak website. Leading up to Valentine’s Day, it would make for the best present to keep those happy memories stored in or printed from. Forget a photo booth for romantic shots, it’s time to embrace this beauty!

Along with the camera, the team also sent me a pack of extra paper, which I haven’t broken into yet. At around £12.99 for a box, it is now cheaper to buy these than to get a disposable camera printed. In fact, it’s cheaper than a disposable camera. An item that made so many childhood holidays and memories special.

I’m glad that instant prints haven’t gone out of fashion. It warms my 90s/00s heart! Kodak has made a camera that will inspire a new generation to keep the magic alive. And I couldn’t recommend it enough! The Printomatic is a camera that will last the years and I am all here for it. It’s a snap happy creation that just keeps on giving!

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Are you heading away soon? Maybe for half term or Easter? Well, I wanted to prepare you all, as April will see our mobile prices going up again, almost to the same price as the flights, trains or care hire costs that you are paying lovelies!

With almost all mobile providers rising costs each year, giffgaff have found out that most hike their prices by around 7.9% each year, leading to a £36.05 rise in just one year if your phone bill comes to £38 normally. That’s simply shocking lovelies!

Hoping to change this though, giffgaff have made a promise to never raise its prices mid-contract, offering 5GB of free romancing in the EU, which you could visit if you lowered your phone bill lovelies.

Uncovering the shocking truth led the company to find that over Easter, you could pay for four return flights from London to Amsterdam at £260 (£65pp), with the added bonus of £28.19 to spend. Whilst in the summer, you could take the Eurostar from London to Paris for £44, with £28.04 left over or two return flights from London to Bilbao for £64pp, plus £16.08 spending money. You could even book four return flights from London to Bordeaux, at £52pp, with £80.19 extra to spend. That sounds a lot better lovelies!

Making some simple changes can help you to save a lot and that’s why I wanted to share this news from giffgaff! As you all know, if I can help you save money then I will always try to help! Especially if it means an epic holiday could take place because of it! Who else fancies that trip to Paris then?
