Hey Lovelies,

We may be about to celebrate Halloween, but now is the perfect time to start thinking about the festive shows that will be on this Christmas. With lots to see, it is hard to not embrace a theatre show during the winter period and catching one when all the decorations are up in London is a truly magical experience.

Yet, it can be hard to decide on what to watch. Plus, with the need to book them quickly, before all the affordable and good seats go, there is a real need to do it soon. Looking up what we might go and see, inspired me with this post to help you lovelies, as we had seen a few of them already. I find it helpful when a person can help break down the best ones. I hope I have done the same here.

Below are just a few of the ones I would suggest you peek at this Christmas…

Nativity! The Musical, Eventim Apollo: Fans of the film franchise will be treated to a night of pure joy with this show. I went to see it two years ago and I can still remember every bit of it. The songs will have you smiling. The all-star cast including Sharon Osbourne and Danny Dyer will keep you laughing. You’ll be leaving as a star, sparkling and shining, I promise.

Friends Festive, The Truman Brewery: More of an immersive experience than a show, this festive version of the Friends Festival, allows all your favourite holiday moments to come to life. See the holiday armadillo in person. Dance with a turkey on your head. Just don’t lose a toe in the process!

Elf - A Christmas Spectacular, Wembley Arena: A few years ago, I went to see this with my mum, who is nicknamed Buddy the Elf, after the escalator scene in the film. It was a truly magical experience and I would recommend it to everyone. I even got a tear in my eye at the end of it, due to my festive heart being so overjoyed.

White Christmas, Dominion Theatre: If you love the film, then the show looks set to be the perfect treat to watch this Christmas. Filled with the songs that have become so iconic to this time of year, embrace your red outfits and paint the town red at this festive affair.

Nutcracker - English National Ballet, London Coliseum: Is it even Christmas time if the ballet isn’t putting on a performance of The Nutcracker? When I was small, I dreamed of seeing it in person, something I think came from being obsessed with the Barbie version, and I still haven’t. It is on my to-do list. Said to be one of the best experiences ever, this is one for little and big ones to enjoy.

Mary Poppins, Prince Edward Theatre: New to the West End this year, Mary Poppins will be taking to London to fly a kite over the Christmas period. See her change the lives of families all over, whilst singing the classic songs we all know and love. She might even be able to help beat any winter colds, with a spoonful of medicine.

I don’t think you can ever beat a Christmas show in the heart of London and these festive delights are suitable for the whole family to enjoy. I do love a pantomime too, something London Palladium is famous for putting on. The possibilities during the festive season are just endless and there are of course the shows that take to the stage all year round to choose from too. What will you be going to see this Christmas lovelies?
