Good Morning Lovelies,

Never has Nicole Kidman been seen like this. After a tremendous few years, she is at the top of her game in Destroyer. A role that presents her in a way that you will not be expecting but will love every minute of.

Set 17 years after an undercover operation involving her went wrong, police detective Erin Bell (Nicole Kidman) is left facing the consequences of the case still. When she hears that Silas (Toby Kebbell), the leader of the gang she infiltrated, is back and seeking revenge, Erin looks and seeks to get what she has always wanted - Justice. No matter what the results or cost of that may be.

Stripped back and raw, Kidman gives a career-defining portrayal of a woman who strives to get what she wants in a powerful and compelling way. If there is any reason to watch the film, it is her take on director Karyn Kusama’s story. Every movement. Every storyline. Every piece of the plot captured through close shots of a figure you have to keep reminding yourself is Kidman affects you.

It is a film that will remain with you even when the credits are long gone. Reflecting a world that doesn’t seem real in many ways, it shows the brutality and longing for justice in a refreshing manner that will delight all.

Equally as enrapturing as her turn in Big Little Lies, Kidman is redefining her career one feature at a time and this is one that you must watch. There so, I am giving it…
