Logan Lucky DVD Review

09:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

You are about to get lucky! No not that kind of lucky, you dirty minded people! Logan Lucky that is!

Starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig and Riley Keough, the film follows brother and sister trio Millie, Jimmy and Clyde, as they try to steal a hefty sum of money. Bringing in an expert thief, they attempt to pull off one of the biggest fights of their lives.

Throughout the film is a joy to watch. With great casting that pushes the limits of all those involved, especially Tatum and a completely new Craig, there is a sense of satisfaction in the way this is all so fresh. Yes, car chases and robberies have started on screen before, but like Hell or High Water, This One adapts into something that seems like it has jumped straight off the thrilling pages of a comic book.

Director Steven Soderbergh, who is returning after a very long break, has returned with a force of a film. He makes Craig become a comedian in newly 30 seconds of him being on screen. Whilst making Tatum, who is known for his comedy routes, into a convincing West Virginia inhabitant by projecting his incredible accent.

The only thing that feels at all familiar is the look of some of the characters. Driver and Tatum too. Tatum is still reflecting that Magic Mike charm, but as he did with those films, it all works out well for the audience and story.

Branching out is what this film is all about in the end. It is a film that gives audiences something new. It is a film that makes audiences smile, laugh and be thrilled with. It is also a chance for the actors within it to take and show a new side to themselves and it is one to add to the CVs.

This film has earned itself a very lucky...
