Five Things I Am Embracing To Feel Better This November

Good Morning Lovelies,

Life can be an odd one. The world can be amazing one second and the next it can be a dump. Believe me I know. I can honestly be super happy one second and then it can all change. And I hate it. So, I have decided that as we head into my favourite months of the year, I am going to try and remain as positive as possible. To do this, I am going to do more of what I love. Without worrying about what others think.

I have been feeling like I am being judged a lot recently. From what I eat to what I do, even in my own home, I feel like a lot of people have been trying to tell me what I can and can’t do. I know many of them are doing it out of love. However, sometimes that love can make you feel even more pressured. Not a good thing for someone with an eating and anxiety disorder.

Therefore, I am going to embrace some new self-help tips and tricks to make me feel better. Whether that be enjoying more films and TV shows, reading, pampering or simply cleaning up the space around me and embracing nature more. I am ready for it all and wanted to share with you what I am planning to do...

Having A Film or TV Show Night With My Mum Once A Month: Me and my mum can be quite bad at planning a film or TV catch-up night in and then going to bed tired. I am going to make the darker nights lighter by trying to schedule and have at least one film or TV binge watch night a month.

A Pampering Session Once a Month: Not an at home one, but one where I spend a little bit of money feeling better. I don’t buy make-up or other beauty products often, so I want to make my days better by spending a little bit making myself feel better. From my eyebrows to my toes, I want to embrace and look after my body a little more from now on.

Spending Time With More People and Family: This month I am going to visit my brother again and I also want to see more people that I haven't seen in ages before the Christmas season. It all gets really busy in December, so I want to enjoy them all before we can’t actually meet up, because I love them all so much.

Embrace The Festive Season: Christmas is my favourite time of the year! I love everything about it and I want to fully take it all in this year. The past few Christmases have been hard, due to the passing of my dad, but I want to bring back what he loved about the season big time. I am already getting ready to put up the tree.

Sleeping More: I really struggle to sleep well! I am someone who gets nightmares and panic attacks during the night and I want to try and relax more to stop these from happening. I don’t know how I am going to do this, but I will work it out.

They are only little things, yet I know that they will help me in the long run. Especially the film night in and Christmas season. My heart will explode with happiness from this. I am already planning the Christmas content for the blog and festive film nights as we speak. Bring on the snow!
