My Monthly Favourites From May 2022!

Good Morning Lovelies,

May was my special holiday month. Heading out to stay in one of my favourite childhood places, with my two best friends (Dee and my mum) meant that memories were made and new favourites found. Especially when it comes to reading, watching and listening. Plus, it was also the month I felt like I got my writing mojo back. Hopefully you are all enjoying it. Discover what made the rest of my month so special below:

My Favourite Book: The UnHoney-Mooners by Christina Lauren - Delving into this book, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. Yet, I read it in just a few days and am hoping to read more by the two authors. Great for reading by the beach, with a nice drink in hand, I honestly couldn’t get enough of it.

My Favourite TV Show: Eat Well For Less - It might seem odd, but I love a show that helps you save money. I think it is because I have worked within the money-saving industry and am now always on the lookout for the best deals. This show is one of my favourites and I am so glad that it is back on my screen. I also think it may be because I am a little nosey and like to see what others are spending or doing in their own home.

My Favourite Food Find: Asda Jumbo Oats - I am still trying to challenge my fear of porridge. Discovering these jumbo oats on holiday has changed the game for me. Whilst I will always love Flahavan’s, these are closely following it to the top spot. Plus, they are super affordable, with 1KG of oats costing just £1.10. Bargain!

My Favourite Beauty Item: DKNY Cool Swirl Perfume - Whilst we were away, my mum treated me to a belated Easter gift and a little holiday present by buying me this perfume. She is a superstar, as she knows that perfume is my biggest weakness when it comes to shopping. DKNY also holds a special place in my heart, as I remember wanting the DKNY Be Delicious Green Apple when I was in Italy and my dad bought it for me. Now, my mum is keeping the tradition alive and it makes it even more special.

My Favourite Podcast: The Parenting Hell Podcast - I have mentioned this podcast before, but I honestly love it so much. Having struggled a lot this past month, being able to fall back on this podcast, old and new episodes, to help me feel better has been a huge help. All hail Rob Beckett and Josh Widdecombe.

My Favourite Experience: Reuniting with my best friend Dee in Clacton-On-Sea in the middle of May was the perfect experience for me. I have missed her so much and getting to see her again was just incredible. Hopefully, we will be seeing each other again soon. Something I can’t wait to do.

What were some of your favourite things from the month of May lovelies?
