Sunday Bake: Host A Giant Pretzel Party With This Easy Two-Ingredient Recipe

07:30:00

Hey Lovelies,

Recently I have been thinking about changing a few things up on the blog. I have big plans. Now that I have ended the question of the day posts, I want to start dedicating more time to doing more lifestyle-focused features. I used to write a lot of money-related content in my old job that has been inspiring me.

There is one theme that I do each week though that will not be going anywhere. The Sunday Bake posts, which I always have fun doing. I am trying to find, create and share recipes with you that I have enjoyed baking in the hopes that they will inspire you in the kitchen.

Simple creations are my favourites and this week it couldn’t be easier. Going bake to our bread baking roots, these two-ingredient pretzels will hopefully bring a lot of joy into your home. I swear they are so easy to make you will be doing so every week. In the words of GBBO, on your marks, get set, bake…

Ingredients

1 ¾ cups/220g Self-Rising Flour, Plus A Little More For Dusting
1 cup/245g Greek Yogurt

Tools

Baking Tray
Baking Paper
Mixing Bowl
Knife

Method

Start by preheating the oven to 400°F/200°C. Then grease and line your baking tray, leaving to one side when done.
In your mixing bowl, add the flour and yogurt together until a ball is formed.
Take the ball and place on a floured surface. Flatten the ball with your hands to a round disk shape of about eight inches.
Taking your knife, cut the dough into eight equal pieces. Then one at a time, roll each piece into a 35cm log.
Once you have eight equal shapes, shape them into individual pretzels, before placing onto your baking trays.
Now is the perfect time to add in your flavours, additions or leave the bagels plain.
When ready and on the tray, bake for 20 minutes, until the pretzels are a deep golden brown, then serve warm or allow to cool!

Don’t forget to share your creations with me lovelies! I love to see what different things you have been baking and am so happy to be able to share them with everyone too
