Guerrilla DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

When Idris Elba announces that he is going to be starring in a brand new TV series it is time to get excited. Especially when he is joined by other amazing talents including Freida Pinto.

Set in the 1970s, Guerrilla follows a series of characters during the time in which the immigration act and Black Panther movement was happening. With a whole range of emotions, fights and powerful monologues, the show grips you in and appeals to you from the moment it begins.

Elba is at his best in this role, as he brings back to life the powerful figure of Luther, but in an entirely different world. Each character has a story or moment to share that makes them stand out but against it all Elba is the true power figure in this one.

With only six episodes, this mini-series packs a lot into its episodes. Something that does cause a few moments to get lost. Ultimately though it gives us a series that is worthy of its binge-watching title, as we come to terms with the characters throughout.

There so I am giving this amazing show...
