Lost Girls Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

A while ago I was asked to review the film, Lost Girls, which starred at the Raindance Film Festival. With a bit of a mad few months, I forgot to watch it until I was reminded. So this weekend I got stuck in and have been left with many thoughts since.

Focusing on sex trafficking and the worrying amount that it is growing around the world, the film follows one victim as she tries to lure young women into sex trafficking. Upon kidnapping a 15 year old, she is given a gift that makes her look at her life in a different way, making her want to confront her inner demons and those around her.

The film is an intense look at how young people are getting caught up in a horrible world and the effect it has on them. There are many ways that Julia Verdin, the director and writer of the film, has made audiences think about the film for days after.

As an audience it is one that gets stuck in your head and you just can’t forget it. It is a film that has made an impact for this reason. There is no one that will not watch it and be left affected in some way.

That is why I am giving it...
