Hey Lovelies, 

With an incredible cast and sounding plot, this film had so much going for it that should have made it great. However with so many clichés and over the top moments ‘Kidnapping Freddy Heineken’ becomes an over the top piece, that lets down its brilliant cast who are obviously trying to provide audiences with an interesting watch. 


Nothing is really new in this film and a lot of it has been seen before in other films with a similar plot. Audiences will be able to guess the plot from about 20 minutes in and therefore you are left watching just to see if anything changes that will make what you have guessed not be correct. The plot is just to predictable for the flow of the film and that leads the actors down a dark hole. 

However the cast in the film are the most watchable element of it, as a number of fantastic actors have come together to bring this film to life. And while they may have been let down by the plot of the film, they do still add a certain charm to it. As a viewer you will feel for them, because you can see them trying to make the film the best it can be, but it does not work for all of it due to the plot and script, which doesn’t provide much in-depth information to help the plot out.
