Next week, we will be embracing the big back to school rush! Even if you don’t have children, like me, I always feel like it is a chance to really reset your life and start again. It is a lot harder for little ones to adapt to this however, after a long break running free from homework and school stresses! 

The return to a daily routine can cause a lot of panic for the younger members of your family, leading to a lack of sleep or a disrupted bedtime routine. Something the team at Disney are aware of, as they have witnessed many parents worrying about how they are going to get their children to settle at night. 

With all this in mind, they have come up with something that will hopefully help! Based around 

the lovable character Stitch, a firm family favourite, the company has produced two brand new night lights and projectors that bring a real sense of calm into the home. 

Reflecting lights and patterns onto the ceiling and around the room, the lights allow little ones to embrace a really peaceful sensory experience that they can focus on instead of the stresses at school. The soft lull of the lights also allows for the winding down to start as soon as they are lit, causing adults to fall asleep alongside their children as well. 

Having kindly been sent one of the lights to trial, I found that they were brilliant at distracting my mind, which often goes into overdrive when I lie in bed. The swirling of the galaxy-like patterns around my bedroom made me feel like I was on a star gazing camping trip. I was so at peace that when I popped on my rain white noise to go alongside it, I went out in under five minutes.
