Good Morning Lovelies, 

I don’t know about you but I have found that since I have gotten older, I really struggle with knowing what I want for my birthday. I often get bored looking at websites for ideas. Plus, I am a bit of an annoying person in that if I want something I will just buy it for myself. I have this weird hatred for people buying my things, as I feel like I owe them something back. 

Yet, my mum practically ordered me to come up with a few ideas of things she could get me, as well as a few surprises too, which I wanted to share with you all. I am quite a simple soul when it comes to things I have realised and these little items really were all I needed…

Adidas Originals Waffle Green & Yellow Track Top, £20: I am currently in my Adidas era and loving it! As someone who often goes for dark tones, I wanted to add a splash of colour to my wardrobe. This green was perfect at being a bit out there but not too much. Plus, the texture feels perfect to take me into autumn with. 

Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, £69 for 50ml: Any celebration requires a perfume to remember it by. This was a sort of present to myself, as I can’t resist when Marc Jacobs brings out a new scent. I spotted this on the Duty Free website before we went on holiday and knew that before we had even got to Belfast that I would be bringing it home with me. As an added bonus, I even got a mini bottle of Marc Jacobs Perfect given to me too. 

LEGO Gift Box Celebration, £17.99: As I don’t eat cake, my mum likes to come up with fun ways that I can have a birthday cake instead. This year, she went to the LEGO store in Belfast and brought me this. Even though the day is now long gone, I still haven’t been able to break it up, as it is too cute. 

Me To You Journal, £5.99: I love to write. Whether it be on this blog or in my diaries, I love to put pen to paper and let everything within my brain flow out. When I was younger, I used to collect Me To You bears but there were so many of them in the end that I had to part with them. Though, I still hold them very dear in my heart, so this journal is a little way for me to bring them back into my life. 

Asda Box Pleat Striped Duvet, £14: As I get older, I keep telling myself that I need to buy more adult items. Though, it goes in one ear and out the other a lot of the time. Yet, I have sort of stuck with it in terms of my room. At the moment, I am looking to get rid of the child-like duvet covers and replace them with my adult-facing ones. This duvet, which comes in a mix of colours but which I got in a brown and blue stripe, is the perfect way to start it off. 

Born & Bred Stickers, £1 Each: When I stepped into Born & Bred, I could have gone wild buying stuff. I was very good though and managed to handle it all very well in the end. My mum knew how much I wanted though and brought me a few little items from there for my birthday including some sweet Irish themed stickers that I have added to my memory shelf. 

Tracy Beaker Short Pyjamas, £14: Growing up, I would race home from school to watch the newest episode of Tracy Beaker. Then when I had the weekends off or the school holidays, I would binge them over and over again, no matter how many times I had seen each episode. It was only fitting then that I got these pyjamas. Fun fact, Tracy Beaker was the first book I ever got out of the library and read. 

Born & Bred What’s The Craic Socks, £9.50: Another smash hit from my mum were these socks. Anything with a hint of Ireland on it and I want it. These socks had caught my eye on their website before we went, so to finally own them was amazing. They are so comfy and I will be sporting them throughout summer, autumn, winter and spring. 

DKNY Lounge Set, £16.99: A while ago, I saw these sets in my local Costco and loved the look of them. Super soft to touch, I thought they would be perfect for those hot summer days, where you never know what to wear. And they are! I brought one set for myself a while ago and loved how cosy it was, so my mum brought me another for my birthday and again I love the green vibes. 

Saltair Golden Hour Body Mist, £15: Having brought my own perfume this year, my mum was a little stuck as to what one to get me, as she likes to buy me a scent too. We had never been to a SpaceNK before but since popping into the one in Belfast, I am hooked on their website now. This mist was the one I asked off my mum this year, after we found it in store, and honestly it is sunshine in a bottle.

Vouchers & A Puzzle Book: I always get a few other little nick nacks and this year my mum got me an arrowword puzzle book to do when I get a little bit stressed. I also got a lovely JD voucher from my neighbour, which I am certain will be spent on something Adidas based, as I can’t get enough of them. 

I hope that this doesn’t seem like I am bragging about the gifts lovelies, I honestly don’t mean to be.
