Hop on over and make this incredibly chocolate filled Easter pudding ASAP lovelies!
Good Morning Lovelies,
I can’t believe how quickly Easter has come around! It seems like only the other day that we were all celebrating Christmas. Time is really going in the blink of an eye, which is why it is becoming even more important to enjoy the little things even more. Such as these delicious carrot based puddings that will light up any Easter table.
Using only a few simple ingredients and steps, these carrot based creations are the cutest creations to make if you are hosting over the festive weekend lovelies. Honestly, once you see them come to life, you will be wishing it was Easter every day of the year…
Ingredients
One Box or Packet of Chocolate Mousse Mix (You Can Use Ready Made Too)
Two Cups of Milk (If Using A Box or Packet)
10-12 Crushed Chocolate Sandwich Cookies (Oreos Etc)
Carrot Shaped Sweets or Carrot Shaped Chocolates
½ Cup of Whipped Cream
OPTIONAL: Green Dyed Shredded Coconut & Mini Chocolate Eggs
Tools
Two Mixing Bowls
A Teaspoon
A Mixing Spoon
A Rolling Pin
A Plastic Bag
Glass Jars/Cups
Method
Begin by taking a mixing bowl and adding in the chocolate mousse or mousse box/packet mixture. If using the mixture, add in the milk and leave to set in the fridge.
Whilst the mixture is setting, crush the biscuits using a rolling bin in a plastic bag or mixing bowl. They should look like soil when done.
Grab a number of small jars or clear cups/glasses and begin to construct the dessert. Start by spooning in two or three teaspoons of pudding, then add a layer of the crushed biscuits before applying a few teaspoons of whipped cream. Repeat until all the mixtures, apart from the biscuits, have been used up and the glasses/jars are filled up nearly to the top.
With the remaining crushed biscuits, add a thick layer to the top of the glasses/jars to look like soil.
Then add the carrot shaped sweets or chocolates onto the top of them to look like they have grown out of them. If using the coconut and mini eggs, add a sprinkling around them to look like grass and easter egg hunt finds.
Once complete, place back into the fridge to chill before serving.
I can guarantee that once these have been taken out of the fridge to serve at the end of your Easter dinner, everyone will be hoping to try them! They are so simple but the cutest dish to share with your loved ones! Forget the Easter eggs, it is all about these this year!
