Have A Slime Filled Easter Holidays With These Fun New Toys!

00:00:00

Spring is in full bloom and with the sun shining on us the need to have fun is at an all time high! Especially when it comes to our little ones, who will no doubt be spending hours getting lost in the world of slime! The theme of loads of new toys that have just landed and which I couldn't wait to share!

Good Morning Lovelies,

As we all prepare for the upcoming Easter holidays, figuring out what to do with the little ones in our lives is high on our agendas. Something that is always sure to be a winner is slime. From calming practices to creative means, it has been a source of entertainment for many of us and continues to be, which is why I was so excited to hear about two new products on the market that are perfect for this time of year.

Made by the wonders at Canal Toys, the So Slime Mini Flower Garden (£13) and the Squish Squish So Slime DIY Squishy Factory (£13) are the most perfect alternative gifts for all this Easter. Having tested them out myself, I found that to be a real source of fun that lasted for hours and made my day just a little bit brighter with their spring themes. Especially that found in the Mini Flower Garden set

Providing the opportunity to mix, stretch and squish an array of six colours, two textures and three scents, the slime provides the most perfect bases for the pots that are provided in a super sweet greenhouse style model. The slime can also be adorned with cute decorations that there are plenty of, thanks to the six bags of them plus the sticker sheet that come with the product.

Putting the final designs out on display lit up my room and I am certain it will light up your home too. When put into use, your little one's creativity will be able to be explored endlessly and I have no doubts that they too will want to show off what they have made.

The fun didn’t stop there though, as the DIY Squishy Factory was equally as fun. Made for a little bit older audiences, the slime station provides the opportunity to actually make the slime that can then be played with for hours. Using the handy mixer provided, the gels that make the slime can be added, before colours are applied and fitted into the desired shape or mould. Once dried, the slime can also be decorated using the decor provided, before it is placed into a bag to be played with.

Using the bag allows for the slime to be easily transported, whilst also preventing any mess from occurring, making it great to take out on the go. A perfect toy to help when on those long journeys over the Easter holidays.

Having played with both of these, I found myself being transported back to the joys of being little, when I loved making things like this. Much like the 90s make up kits, these slime versions provide a whole host of science based learning that can then be enjoyed for hours afterwards. With so many skills being able to be used too, they also make for a present that lasts a lot longer this Easter.

Out now in many shops, both in-store and online, the kits are just what you need to make a real impact this spring! I promise you lovelies that once you see the sweet flower garden on your windowsill or shelf then you will be wanting to make slime all the time! They really are the gooey gift that keeps on giving!
