Football is one sport that can unite the whole world together! Whether it be in local matches or global games, seeing your favourite team win can encourage all to want to take part in the sport. Yet, it is this new membership scheme from Matt and Veda Wilson, called Aniballers FC, that is going to change how our little ones see football forever!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Growing up with four brothers and a dad, who were all football mad, my house was continuously consumed by the sport. To the point that I even joined a team in primary school to try and impress my brother. I stayed up until the ball got kicked into my stomach and I decided it wasn’t for me to be the next Bend It Like Beckham character.

Yet, I always loved the sport after that and continue to be a big fan of Tottenham Hotspurs and of course the Italian, English and Irish teams. This love has seen me encourage all of the little people in my life to take an interest in the sport if they want to play or watch it.

Therefore, when I heard about the incredible Aniballers FC membership, I was keen to find out more. Having been created by Matt Wilson to help his daughter Veda, who is co-creator, to learn vital lessons about life through it.

Using an online coaching programme, the pair have made a number of amazing assets to help get little players involved in the sport. Through fun characters Including Princess Essie and her friends, children can get signed up to the club, before receiving a membership welcome pack, which includes a handwritten card, stickers, progress chart, a golden Aniballers ball and a whole load more to help them to get started. Plus, they can also enjoy fun bedtime stories, featuring the characters and an exclusive podcast too.

Having kindly been given one of the membership packs to try, I was able to see firsthand what your little ones may get the chance to enjoy. Right away, I could see how much time and effort had gone into making each character and their story. They reminded me of the characters you would get at Haven, which I was obsessed with, so I knew right away that they would draw children into their fun activities.

Every piece of the membership box was beautifully crafted and made me want to go and play a game of football, which I haven’t felt like doing in a long time. To put it to the test, I asked my neighbour’s sons if they would like to have a game and they couldn’t agree any quicker. After using the golden pump to blow up the ball, they used the app to watch a few tutorials and then headed to the park to replicate them.

Even though it was freezing, they spent ages testing out all the different skills and by the end of the evening, they were asking if they could continue playing at home. Something I was so happy to see. If there is any way to get them to enjoy sports then I will always encourage it and the Aniballers was definitely one membership I would encourage.

Whilst many of us will be going into the new year with hopes of being more active, it doesn’t have to be in a slamming the pavements kind of way. Instead, it can be in a fun, family friendly manner, which Aniballers have been made to achieve. If I was younger, I would have loved using this with my mum and dad to learn new skills.

Matt and Veda have made something that is so special and if I was to give you any advice this December, it would be to get involved in this! You will be having the best family kickabouts in no time!
