It wouldn’t be Christmas if a panto wasn’t being performed at your local theatre! This year, the blog headed into London to catch the newest pantomime to take to the stage, Peter Pan, at Greenwich Theatre! With an incredible cast, fantastic staging and beautiful theatre, festive magic was truly in the air! Find out what we thought of this super fun show here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Last night, the blog headed into London to capture the wonder that is Peter Pan: A New Pantomime Adventure. Coming fresh to Greenwich Theatre, the shows last two hours and 10 minutes. During that time, it captures the true heart of the season, making for a piece of theatre that is a real family hit.

With an incredibly diverse cast, the show follows Peter Pan, played by Samuel Bailey, as he tries to take back control from the evil Captain Hook, who has discovered a mystical map, which could give him the ultimate power of the seas and land. Made up of all the iconic pantomime features, there is something so original about this take that causes it to be lovable in every single way.

Every cast member knows the cues they need to hit to make the audience fall for the show. Each piece of set has been made with the care and attention that you would expect to see in a West End feature. Something that is also shown in the script for the show, which is also tight and worthy of being award-winning like the theatre’s previous panto was.

Although many will turn to the big theatres or their local ones for a festive show this Christmas, you should all add this gem to the top of your list. With each cast member giving their all, the creative team behind it working every ounce of their magic and the theatre bringing to life the magic of the season so well, it is a panto that will leave an imprint on your heart.

Peter Pan: A New Pantomime Adventure is the panto that many may miss but once seen will become a favourite in every way! It is a magical festive feature that makes Christmas what it is and you will not want to miss it. It is time to fly off to Neverland lovelies!
