Good Morning Lovelies,
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who are celebrating today lovelies! In the UK, we don’t really mark the occasion, but I couldn’t not mark the big day, as I know many of you amazing people are from the US.
Therefore, I have come up with an original kind of take on the classic pumpkin pie dessert that is super delicious. Using only the most basic but amazing ingredients, the pie can be created in just a few simple steps, all thanks to the handy cans of Worldwide Global Brands Baking Buddy Pumpkin Purée.
Something that is both brilliant and hazardous, this pie will have everyone asking you to make it again and again, which is why it is so dangerous. I hope you really enjoy it lovelies…
Ingredients
One and ½ Cups of Crushed Gingernut Biscuits
Four Tablespoons of Melted Butter
One Can of Worldwide Global Brands Baking Buddy Pumpkin Puree
One Cup of Sweetened Condensed Milk
Two Large Eggs
½ Teaspoon of Cinnamon
¼ Teaspoon of Ginger
A Pinch of Nutmeg
Whipped Cream and Extra Crushed Gingernut Biscuits (Optional Topping)
Tools
9-Inch Pie Dish
Two Mixing Spoons
Two Mixing Bowls
Methods
Start by preheating the oven to 175°C before greasing a 9-inch pie dish.
Then grab a mixing bowl and add in the gingernut biscuits and melted butter. Once combined, press into the bottom of the dish and push up the sides slightly.
In another mixing bowl, add in the pumpkin puree, condensed milk, eggs and spices. Mix together until smooth.
Place the filling into the dish on top of the crust and put into the oven for 45 to 50 minutes until set. The centre should be a little bit jiggly still.
Once baked, remove from the oven and pop into the refrigerator for one to two hours to fully set.
When ready to serve, add the whipped cream and crumbs, if using, to the top and tuck in!
This is truly a delicious take on a classic dessert lovelies, which is perfect for any occasion this autumn! Simply grab a plate, a fork and tuck in whenever you can! You won’t be disappointed!
