Flu Jab? Yay or Nay? Go For It!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Jabs. How many have we had to have in recent years? From boosters to new ones, it feels like we have been endlessly asked to go and get the injections that we need to stay healthy. I’ve had them all with you all. From Coronavirus to Pneumonia, I have happily gone to the doctors or chemist to get them.

Knowing they will help protect me is encouraging. And whilst they may hurt my arm or make me feel a little funny for a few days, it is something I can live with. Getting seriously ill would be very dangerous for me, which means that I want to stay as safe as possible.

Right now, it is flu jab season. I can’t remember the first time I had to have it, but since then I have made sure to get it every year. It doesn’t hurt. I never feel ill afterwards and I feel better knowing I am not as at risk because I have had it.

However, I know many people don’t like to get injections. There are a lot of us who find the idea of a needle going into our skins terrifying and I understand. Yet, I promise you, promise you, you don’t need to worry.

The needle is so small, the actual process is done in about two minutes. Once your arm is out and all signs and information has been delivered, the jab is administered and you are free to go. You don’t even need to go to your doctors for the jab.

You can simply go to your local chemist and get the injection done. I have done this for the past few years as it takes a lot of pressure off the doctors by doing so. A huge win all round really.

So lovelies, if you can, please get yours! You will feel better for it in the long run!
