Blogmas Day Five: Create The Festive Wreath Your Heart Desires With I Do Handmade's Helpful Kits

Hey Lovelies,

Christmas is a time for giving and for being with those that we love. This year, it is going to be really hard for my family, as my dad is no longer with us. A week on from the worst day of our lives, there is still not enough words to describe the pain we are feeling. Yet, it has made me more determined to appreciate those that I have with me on the big day. My mum especially!

There so, I thought it would be a good idea to share with you all a fun activity that we did recently, thanks to I Do Handmade. After reaching out to people on Twitter, the company came back to me about a range of homemade products they had on offer. I Do Handmade is a business who focus on making creative kits to do at home, workshops, and a decorating service to help you with events, weddings and parties.

After speaking about what they have created for customers this Christmas, the team kindly sent me a festive wreath kit, to help make my home vibrant this December. Priced at £20, the kit came with fresh spruce, eucalyptus, pine cones and artificial berries to make a lively display for my door. With added ribbon and a wreath ring, the package came with everything that I needed to make it. Including a simple YouTube video to follow to help produce the kit easily.

Me and my mum decided to leave the kit for a few days, to give the plants the chance to age a bit, to help us make the rustic look we desired. Once ready we took out all the pieces from the box, laid them out, and got stuck in. Taking five minutes, in which we used the video, to create, this is so simple to do and made our house pop.

I was so impressed with the way in which the video guided us through and how quickly I could come up with the piece I wanted. There was the options to make the wreath my own, which I did, but it was also nice to be able to follow a guide that had a design I loved too. The team have thought of everything that you could want, something that you will be so happy with.

There are only a number of days though lovelies to buy the wreath though lovelies, as the last delivery date being the 6th December. So, make sure to head to their website and purchase yours before it is too late. Oh, and don’t forget to use the code LETSSTART15 to get 15% off your order too.

With such an easy and beautiful wreath kit available, this is the small business to reach out to. I Do Handmade were a team I hadn’t ever heard of before, but will be using again for sure. Two weeks on, the wreath is still thriving on our front door and I haven’t had to do much to keep it alive. Just a few simple squirts of water every now and again.

I Do Handmade has made me super happy and it gave me and mum the chance to relax during this tough time. The company has a number of other kits to create, so make sure to look up their website to find the right one for you.

What small business have you fallen in love with this Christmas? Let me know!
