Hey Lovelies,

Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without Cadbury’s. Whether it be a classic tub of Heroes or Roses, the chocolate tree decorations or the chance to chill out on the sofa with a classic bar, after satisfying the rest of the family with a great Christmas feast or presents. There is a time and a place to bring Christmas and Cadbury’s together, no matter what.

I know it is a little early to be saying all of this, but I have a good reason. A few weeks ago, the team kindly sent me a few samples of what was to come this festive season. Some of which I have already seen in shops. From fancy new designer tins to cute classics, this year is all about the fun and the fabulous.

Within the box, I discovered a world of Cadbury that I was so happy to see. The Olivia Burton world that is. The first thing my eyes were drawn to was a blue Roses tin, with literal roses all over it. Designed by the watch and jewellery creator, the tin has been made to provide the ultimate gift to someone you love during December. Priced at £9.99, it is a little bit more expensive than the normal Roses box, but it is so worth it, as the tin will last for years and there is a discount inside on a watch designed to match.

Also hidden under the purple layers was the classic Heroes tub. In our house, Heroes are normally are the top choice to share from October to December. We even keep some stocked up for other times of the year. Unlike the previous year though, there are some new faces joining the crew. New for 2019, the Cadbury Dinky Decker and Cadbury Crunchie are teaming up with the classic Dairy Milk, Cadbury DairyMilk Caramel, Cadbury Wispa, Cadbury Éclair, Cadbury Fudge, Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted and Cadbury Twirl Bites within it and we all feel in our home that it is the perfect addition. Everyone loves a Crunchie and the miniature bites mean that everyone can now have one. Unless there is a fight for them.

Continuing to uncover the samples, there were the brilliant and very handy for little ones as gifts Freddo Faces and Buttons tubes. Filled with little packets of Freddo shaped chocolate and dots of Cadbury’s chocolate, the tubes are always good as stocking fillers. I always make sure that my niece and nephews have one in each of theirs and normally before 10am they are all gone. There is no stopping them when they have been found.

A similar issue we have with our next samples. The classic tree decorations, which we have to stop people eating until we take the tree down in January. It never works and my brother is just as bad as the kids. If we do have any left by the end of the festive month, it is a miracle. A Christmas miracle if you will. I know that this is the reason they are on there, but I love not just having them on display, but the colours the little pieces provide on the tree alongside candy canes. Our tree must look like something from Elf when we are done with it, but I love it aha!

Cadbury’s have always been amazing when it comes to the blog and I know that they have lots more goodies coming out for the festive season. Collaborating with Angry Birds on some amazing selection boxes, which I was also lucky to receive, launching festive money boxes and little Daim robins are just a few things to look out for over the next few months. But for now, I wanted to share with you all the lovely samples in which I received. I am really happy with all of them and I can’t wait to find a place for the Olivia Burton Roses tin. As a big fan of both brands, I will happily be putting it out on display.

As the autumn/winter months settle in, I will be sure to let you know more about festive foods I find, even in my condition. Food is a big thing during the last few months of the year and that can be hard for someone with an ED, but I am powering through. Plus, I simply love getting ready for my favourite time of the year, by stocking up on treats for my whole family to enjoy. I am like a squirrel storing things up for hibernation once September is over. I simply can’t help it and I am so thankful to Cadbury’s for letting me share the first bunch of finds with you. Especially when they are as lovely as these.

What is your favourite food to enjoy during the colder/festive seasons lovelies? Let me know!

Joey X
