How is your cosy Sunday’s going? Are you doing what I like to do and spend the day watching TV shows or films under a cosy blanket? If so, we can be best friends! I don’t normally blog on the weekend, but this was sent to my inbox on Friday and in a mad few days I have only now got around to sharing it.

Starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham (anyone else still want to spell it how Chris did on Love Island?), as well as Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and the legendary Helen Mirren, Johnson and Statham are reprising their roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw.

Since their first battle in 2015’s Fast & Furious 7, Hobbs and Shaw have continued to fight and talk smack to one another in the ultimate battle to take each other down. However, when cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Elba) gains control of an insidious bio-threat, which could change humanity forever, the pair finds themselves having to work together. Alongside a fearless rogue MI6 agent (Kirby), who is also Shaw’s sister.

Directed by David Leitch, this will be out on the 2nd August, so don’t miss the first look trailer below:
