Whitney Houston Documentary Can I Be Me Presents First Look Trailer


Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Whitney Houston will always be a musical hero to many. Whether she was lighting up the stage or the screen, she made her audience feel something and that is probably why director Nick Broomfield, decided to make her the focus of his new film.

Featuring unseen footage of live recordings, the film follows the life and career of Houston from an early age. From starting her career in a church choir to getting a record contract that caused her to become a household name, it shares the highs and lows of the star who sadly died at the age of 48.

Speaking to those who knew her about her marriage, friendships and her return to the starlight, this intimate look at her life will be in cinemas from the 16th June, before starring at the Sheffield Doc/Fest. To be prepared, don’t miss the first trailer for the film below:
