Army Of One DVD Review

Good Morning Lovelies,

It seems that whenever someone mentions the actor Nicolas Cage there is always something to laugh about. Whether it is a new meme or a new funny role, Cage is seen as a new comedy genius by many for lots of weird and wonderful reasons.

However, he has used this new image in a very clever way. Taking on the lead role in the film, Army Of One, the actor plays an American man who decides to try to tackle the war on terror. Controversial and very outrageous, the film also stars Russell Brand, Rainn Wilson and Wendi McLendon-Covey, in roles that help portray what is, in fact, a real story.

Director Larry Charles, the man behind Bruno, Borat and Curb Your Enthusiasm, has used his comedy knowledge to tell the story of Gary Faulkner and his very interesting way of trying to take down Osama Bin Laden on his own.

Cage is, in fact, a very risky choice to lead this film because it is not a role that we have seen or may even expect to see him in. But he manages to pull it off. It is a funny film, but there are also a lot of faults with it, however, these aren’t really with Cage.

The story takes on to much of a comedic feel and it seems as though the film would now have been as comical as this film is making it out to be. It needed to be toned down, even by the slightest amount, to help make it stronger with audience members.

Which is why I am giving this bizarre but interesting world...
