Good Morning Lovelies,

Blogmas is continuing right now with this very exciting news from the Moomins! A year ahead of the 2017 film release date, the Moominvalley, Filmkompaniet and Animoon, will today attempt to break a Guinness World Record with the simultaneous YouTube release of the music videos for ‘Bring the Snow’, sung in 23 different languages.

The first music video to be released is, Bring The Snow, performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and written by Finnish musician and performer Paula Vesala, with music by Jori Sjöroos and orchestral arrangement by Jussi Vahvaselkä.

Around the world, listeners will be able to hear the songs with lead vocals by different recording artists from around the world from the 2nd December.

The songs will feature in the brand new film, Moomins at Christmas, due out next December, to tell the story of Moomintroll who decides to stay awake and explore the extraordinary winter season, instead of taking his usual winter slumber. Along the way he finds out about a guest known as Christmas, who comes each year during winter.

Speaking about the film, directors Jakub Wroński and Ira Carpelan said, “We believe that Moomins at Christmas will be a warm and important film that conveys a clear message. It will encourage the audience to reflect upon family, relationships and the feelings we have during our first Christmas. The understanding of the Moomin world and their inclusive way of thinking is vital to this production, so we are working as a team to maintain this sentiment throughout the narrative of the film”.

Get ready to celebrate Christmas early lovelies, with this very sweet treat for you to enjoy...
