Good Morning Lovelies,
You don’t often find a superstar in a horror film, a classic
one anyway, but in Vamp Grace Jones presents a very hilarious and glamourous
show stopper. She is the figure that makes this film so interesting to watch
and you will not forget it.
Telling the story of a group of friends at college, the film
sees Keith and AJ, as they try to leave their mark, but get drawn into the dark
nightclubs with vampires inside. It is a film that is very different,
interesting and overall a completely different idea of the horror genre.
This is the film that probably allowed for comedy to be
brought into the horror genre. Jones makes for a remember able character and
her acting, while not the strongest, is brought out with her wit and charm.
For a vampire film it is also not to strong. They don’t try
to hard and they make sure the audience knows what to expect, instead of making
it to dark and to strong.
