THE FLASH SEASON TWO DVD REVIEW
08:49:00
Good Morning Lovelies,
After only catching a few episodes of season one of The
Flash, I fell into season two after having done a lot of research. Building the
plots and characters that would lead the TV show in the second season, The
Flash is the best it could possibly be.
Starting where the season finale ended (I had seen this
episode upon beginning to view this one), the show sees the cliff-hanger get
resolved before building the plot into an even bigger DC adventure. Barry
Allen, played by Grant Gustin, must take on and save his city once again and
with the help of those who continue to stand by him.
In this season of the show, Barry seems gentler. He appears
to be allowing viewers to see what has been touched upon before but on a much
larger scale and this makes it a lot darker. Barry has to fight his own
personal demons while also taking on some of the most famous DC villains of all
time. He also has to compete with cross over sequences to DC’s Legends of
Tomorrow characters.
Plus with the introduction of parallel worlds, Barry knows
that his problems are about to get a lot worse. The show’s creators have faith
and trust in Gustin to bring the characters story to life and have made sure to
build it to a strong and impossible to match style. Gustin should be proud of
the work he is conveying and it is sure to build his career.
Alongside Gustin, Candice Patton and Danielle Panabaker have
made their characters stronger and people who audiences can look up to. They
are not annoying or needing to be saved all the time, but figures who command
the screen as much as their leading man. Something more shows could build and
do. Especially in the superhero genre.
One of the best things to come out DC in a long time, The
Flash season two is one of the strongest TV seasons around. Gustin has made
Barry Allen and he will probably be the most famous figure to do so, now and in
the future. If the show continues in its third season to be just like this one
then Warner Bros and DC have a strong TV future ahead of them with it.
There so I am giving this season a flashing…
