THE SNOW QUEEN REVIEW...

17:23:00

Hello Lovelies,

For a child’s film this one feels in the gap that ‘Frozen’ has left this winter, but it doesn’t have that edge that will win children over. I think it would have been better if it had been sent out in the aftermath in ‘Frozen’, because it has that edge that would have been perfect for children at that time.

It is an interesting animation that carries on the leading female characters in the film. When her brother goes missing the leading character must fight off those in her path to get him back from the evil snow queen.

While this plot sounds familiar, it is a very fresh outlook that will warm young sibling’s hearts everywhere. When watching it the audience will be able to see how much the characters are following the family bonds that many people look for. It is a film the whole family can enjoy.

However it does have some violent moments within it that some parents may want to watch out for in the film, before they show it to their children. It has moments that make it a lot darker than you would like to see in a kid’s film, especially the killing of certain winter creatures. It isn’t as bad as the death of Bambi’s mum though lovelies.

Overall the film is a cute winter watch but you may want to be prepared for the darker scenes that could cause a few issues for younger children. It should not affect them to much but I would have a watch for them.

Therefore I am giving this snowflake…
