IDRIS ELBA & GEMMA ARTERTON TO STAR IN A HUNDRED STREETS...

Hello My Lovelies,

Well what a surprise this is! I am blogging on a Sunday aha! I don't normally do so, as I normally have a hundred family members over on a Sunday for my mums traditional roast dinner. However today it is just me who is with them, and I thought it would be nice to come and blog to you. I am also very weirdly watching a horror film in the middle of the day that I was asked to review and it is coming up trumps at the moment.

Hopefully I will be able to post all of my reviews tomorrow for you lovelies, but right now I have some production news for you all. Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton have been cast to star in 'A Hundred Streets', the latest film from director Jim O’Hanlon.

Taking us on a journey through the lives of a number of London residents, this drama paints a brand new image of contemporary London. Each resident has major issues to face up to and change, including Emily who is separated from her husband Max, who is also fighting his own battles in the celebrity circuit, which Emily can only help him with if she helps herself first.

Then there is Kingsley who is the estates drug dealer. However when he starts a friendship with ageing actor Terence, he starts to look for a better future. The film also tells the story of Jahmal, who is the rich playboy on the street who is shocked when his ex-girlfriend renters his life. As well as George, who is a local cab driver that dreams of being a father, even though his life is being torn apart.

All of the residents stories are painted in a lonely society, however the films message is one of hope, as life isn't so lonely when you are not the only one struggling.

The film sounds like it will be a huge hit and I will be interested to see what it ends up like, because it seems like a film that would hook you in from start to finish.
