What I Did In July To Prepare For Christmas 2026
00:00:00Christmas is fast approaching and this year it seems to be going full steam ahead! Throughout July, I was wrapped up in all the Christmas In July content and really loved it all! From table settings to tree decor, there wasn’t an aspect of it that didn’t catch my eye, inspiring me endlessly! Find out what I did throughout July to prepare here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
July is the official start of Christmas in my eyes! We are bored of the hot weather. We are lacking the sense of celebration that the season brings. We all want something to prepare for and that is what Christmas in July allows us to do! All of which leading to a lot of inspiration for me.
Throughout July, I made sure to get the celebrations in full swing, as I went in on big plans for the holiday season. We managed to book up our Christmas show this year, which is again a bit different to what most people will be seeing around that time.
Instead of going for a normal pantomime, we have opted to do the Peaky Blinders Underworld experience. Immersing us into the heart of the show, I will be donning my Peaky Blinders Christmas jumper, as I fall into the arms of Tommy Shelby and family once again. If it is anything like the incredible Peaky Blinders: The Rise experience that we went to in Camden then I know it will be fantastic.
With all of this in mind, we also used the venue of the event to plot out what we could also do on that day to really get into the festive mood. Right next door to it is Borough Market, which my mum and I have never been too before, so we have marked that as a Christmas adventure too. We have also agreed that we will be heading into the city centre later on as well to see the lights and Christmas markets at night.
It honestly warms my heart to think about the festive season and seeing all the twinkling lights guiding us around the city. London is such a magical place at Christmas and having plans in place to spend a whole day there basking in the glory of it has motivated me a lot. Christmas has officially started and I couldn’t be happier!
