My Favourite Summer 2026 Moments

00:00:00

With the kids going back to school and the nights drawing in, summer 2026 is making its way out! And I have to say I am sort of happy about it! However, that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have a good one, especially as it included the magical moments featured in this post! Find out all about what moments were really special here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

In the UK, we are about to embark on the last bank holiday of the year until Christmas, meaning summer is officially over! As the kids prepare to go back to school next week and September marking the unofficial real start of the new year, I thought I would take today to reflect on some of the best moments from the last few months.

Bringing sunshine into my life in many different ways, the following events will remain in my brain as core memories for the rest of my life. They were moments that I will truly never forget…

Belfast: Going to Belfast was something that crossed off two things on my to do list this year. I wanted to go somewhere new, whilst also exploring more of Ireland. I absolutely adored my time in the city and I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was so welcoming, with so many sights and experiences available for free or at an affordable price. I would recommend Belfast to anyone looking to go on a city break.

Take That: Having surprised my mum with tickets to see Take That for Christmas, I don’t know who was more excited to see them in the end. I can honestly say that it was one of, if not, the best concert I had ever been to. It was a whole show in fact that brought joy to both young and old throughout. Seeing how happy it made my mum to see the band was the ultimate summer moment for me.

Birthdays: Both my mum and I have our birthdays in the summer and whilst I am not someone who goes big on celebrating, I do when it comes to her. Being able to spoil her is always a highlight of my summer holidays. I love seeing how each surprise makes her happy. It is my own personal sunshine.

Baby Rodney: After five years of trying for a baby, my best friend Dee and her partner Mark welcomed little baby Rodney and I could not have been happier for them. They are two of the most amazing people on earth and I know that they are going to be the most incredible parents. Rodney will be so incredibly loved he won’t know what to do with it all.

Looking After Myself: With my health being touch and go throughout the summer months, I took the last few months to really focus on getting better. I applied to do therapy again to help get a hold of the panic attacks that have been affecting me, whilst also fighting to get my tongue, lung and nose sorted too. Over the last few weeks, we have finally been getting some answers, which has left me more relieved than I was.

What moments have made your summer so special lovelies? 2026 is definitely turning out to be a good one and with the autumn and winter months coming up, I can’t wait to see what the best time of the year brings too!
