My June 2026 Monthly Favourites!
00:00:00June is always a month of real celebration for me, as I finally get to show my mum just how much she means to me on her birthday! However, this year, we made it even more special by doing something we always wanted to do! Find out what moments and items made the last month, even in a heatwave, so special right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
The past month has flown by in my life due to a number of appointments and health matters, which I won’t bore you with! However, amongst them all, it flew by for many special occasions too.
June is the time of the year that marks my mum’s birthday and we celebrated by going on a local brewery tour, which was a lot of fun. We finally saw her favourite band of all time too and ultimately, I had a great time this month because it meant that I could spoil her rotten. Something she always deserves.
Amongst all of the celebrating, I was able to find a few new favourite things that also made for a great June. Below are just a few of them, which I hope you can enjoy too…
My Favourite Podcast - Table Manners: This podcast caused a huge amount of discussion in our house recently, as we couldn’t help but try to put together our own last suppers. Yet, it wasn’t just this that made this podcast a real joy to listen to. I have been loving the introductions it is bringing into my life in regards to people and what they have been creating. The Jack Rooke episode was a real highlight for me in June, as I love Big Boys.
My Favourite Food - Porridge With Honey: I know I go back to this so many times but honestly, I have been absolutely loving having it! Especially when the hot start to June turned cold. I like to snuggle up with my bowl of thick porridge and enjoy the oozing dark honey on top. It is a real comfort food to me no matter what time of the year it is.
My Favourite Film - Toy Story 5: Okay, so I know lots of people have lots to say about this film, but I couldn’t help but secretly love it. The moment I see Woody, Buzz and co on my screen, I get transported to a time when I was carefree and innocent, sitting in my living room watching the first one. Plus, we are the same age, so I have to support my fellow 31 year old toy gang!
My Favourite Beauty Item - DKNY Be Delicious Citrus Splash Ice Pop Perfume: I am a sucker for a new summer scent and this one is truly divine. As soon as I got my first whiff of it in Boots, I knew it had to come home with me. I like to have a perfume to mark a time in my life and this is the scent of 2026 for me. It will definitely be coming on my holiday in July.
My Favourite TV Show - The Bear (Series Five): Honestly, I know it had gone a little bit wild in the last few series but I am so sad that this show has come to an end now. I may have to go back to the start and binge watch it all over again. Jeremy Allen White has always delivered in his performance as his anxious yet powerful chef character and this time around he did not disappoint again. I see lots of awards coming his way!
My Favourite Moment - Seeing Take That With My Mum: When I was a teenager, we didn’t have a lot of money to go to concerts, so I would always say to my mum that one day I would take her to see Take That. For years, we missed out on their gigs for lots of reasons, but last year, I finally brought the tickets that I always promised her and in June we got to see them live together. As soon as they came out on stage and I saw my mum’s face light up, I knew that a core memory had been made. By the end of the night, I could have cried pure tears of joy seeing how happy it had made her. It is a moment that I will never forget (no pun intended!).
What have you done, seen or enjoyed the most in June lovelies? Let me know, as I would absolutely love to hear all about them/it!
