Meet Doodlebone & Nylabone: The Ultimate Dog Care Brands Around
00:00:00On this blog, we like to celebrate all kinds of people and animals! Therefore, I have decided to delve into the wonderful world of pets! Having been brought up with many, I can safely say that I love animals! Especially the cute and cuddle dogs that our world is filled with! Something that the wonders at Doodlebone and Nylabone agree with me on!
Good Morning Lovelies,
When I was younger, my grandparents had a real Lassie dog. The biggest and most fluffiest border collie ever. She was found abandoned by my uncle, before being taken in by them after a dog charity stated that they didn’t want her. As soon as she arrived at their house, I was obsessed with her. She instantly became my best friend and I would always want to go to theirs to play with her.
After my nan sadly passed away and my grandad got sick around two years later, Lassie was a bit too much for him to handle, so he called me and my mum to his house to tell me that she was now my dog. I couldn’t hide my excitement at having her become ours. I won't lie. I still remember the moment vividly in fact, as we placed a blanket for her in front of our living room to get warm next too, whilst I laid side by side with her on it.
From that moment on, we were unbreakable and were so right up until she too sadly left us. Since then no dog has ever been able to take her place in my eyes. Yet, even as I have gotten older and upsettingly found out that I am actually allergic to dogs, my love for them has never gone away. Happily taking antihistamines to be around them, I adore my friends dogs and often help my neighbours with the puppies she breeds.
All of which made me want to celebrate the wonders of the animal world on the blog! Gathering my friend Helen’s dogs, I was kindly able to trial two fantastic brands items, which the pooches, especially Josh, were all too happy to take part in.
New on the scene, Doodlebone have been making accessories for dogs that give them a whole new look, whilst also providing the best pieces for their health. From dog treats to leashes, they have it all and after looking on their website, I couldn’t help but want to share some of my favourite finds from it with you lovelies. I have tested these all too, so I can definitely confirm that the following are fantastic for all your dog’s needs…
Snappy Harness, £20: Perfect for dogs of all sizes, this comfy harness allows for owners to have more control over their dogs whilst on walks. Supporting their muscles and backs too, it also makes sure that dogs can be easily spotted when out on walks, making it perfect for those early morning or late night strolls.
Vita Bites Calming Treats, £17.50: After a busy day at home or out and about, theses treats are perfect at not only rewarding your beloved dog for their well-behaved manner but also at getting them to calm down. Full of nutrients that support this, they are perfect to have whilst out and about or in stressful situations.
Padded Collar, £12.50: Make sure everyone around you knows that your dog means business with this super stylish collar. Padded to provide comfort, it allows for a lead to be applied to it easily, whilst also making a real statement. Crufts will be calling before you know it to award you for best in style.
Vita Vites Joint Care Treats, £17.50: As our dogs get older, we must take extra care to look after their joints. These treats are full of essential ingredients that make sure to supply our pooches with the best vitamins possible to help keep them moving and as healthy as they possibly can.
Rope Lead, £14: Keeping a good grip on your animal is key and this rope lead allows you to do just that. Available in a whole host of colours, you can find the right one to suit you and your dog, whilst also matching it to the padded colour mentioned above. You will both get excited to go on a walk when it comes out.
Treat Pouch, £12: If you purchase the treats mentioned above, you will need to have something to keep them safe and secure in. This easy to carry pouch is super lightweight, whilst also able to be secured to yourself or your dog's lead. Pop a few treats within it every time that you go out and make rewarding your dog a breeze whilst on the go.
Stomp Harness, £30: A lighter version of the harness mentioned above, this one allows for easy application over your dog's head, meaning getting out and about is a whole lot easier. Plus, it comes in a whole range of colours as well, meaning you can find the most perfect one to help make sure that your dog is always easy to spot.
Dinky Dog Drying Towel, £20: After a long walk, many of us will find that our dogs are left in a bit of a mess. So, a bath or shower is often always the key! Yet, if your dog is like how mine was, it can be a bit of a hassle to entice them in. Therefore, make sure to look after them extra specially when they get out with this towel. Super soft, it can also be used as a comfort blanket, which Helen’s dog Josh used it for.
Doodlebone is a brand that has made a whole collection based on keeping your dogs safe, healthy and stylish, all at an affordable price range, which you can find on their website and in selected shops around the UK.
If you want to treat your pooch even more then you also need to get on board with Nylabone! Making endless products that help dogs of all ages to maintain a healthy mouth and body, they have created a number of chews to help them get the right nutrients to strive. Shaped in some of the coolest designs that I have ever seen, they are some of the coolest dog treats I have ever seen. Although, I didn't get to look at them for a long time, as Josh and his brother got stuck into the S'more Please and Brocc' On kinds that I was kindly gifted to give to them. They were gone in no time at all, leaving to very happy dogs behind.
I adore so much of both brands items and would happily buy more and more from them to give to the animals around me. Helen’s dog Josh is also a massive fan, not letting his partner in crime get a look at that towel. If the dog approves then we should all take a look and get involved with lovelies! Josh says so!
