Italy is a place that holds a lot of special memories for me! It is the country that my dad was born in! It is the place where we shared two unforgettable weeks with our family! It is the destination that I dream of going back to soon! So, over the next five days, we are going to be celebrating the wonderful country!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Growing up, I was always aware of how special Italy is and was to my family! With most of my dad’s side still living there, I was blessed to be raised by a proud Sicilian man, who loudly spoke Italian to us, whilst celebrating everything to do with the boot-shaped island.
It is his joy and pride that lives on in me, as I am always seeking ways to continue his legacy. Whether it be proudly stating my surname or decorating our home in Italian finery, I am honoured to be part Italian.
Therefore, with this in mind, I thought that it would be a great time to spend a week marking some of the best bits about the country and everything within it! Over the next five days, I will be sharing some of the best places to get Italian food in the UK, as well as how to decorate your home in the style of an Italian villa and a whole lot more.
It is time to wake up from that siesta you may have been having lovelies, as Italian week has reached the blog! Let the party begin!
