Have I Achieved Any Of My 2026 Goals Yet? Find Out Here!

At the start of the year, I set myself some goals. They were not resolutions, as I don’t really believe in them. Instead they were things that I wanted to achieve throughout 2026 and as we reach the end of the first half of the year, I thought we could take a look back at them to see if I have completed any!

Good Morning Lovelies,

Before 2025 came to an end, I sat down and wrote out a little blog post about the things I wanted to do in 2026. I have a lot of goals, yet, there are some that really stood out to me as the main ones to aim for this year and so I tried to manifest them. And I have to say, I think it worked a little bit.

I really wanted to explore the world a little more and for my birthday, we have booked a trip to somewhere we have never been before as a family. It isn’t too far away from home, as I have an upcoming surgery awaiting me, which I will need to have done as soon as I can. Yet, we are very excited about it. It isn’t one of the three places I picked because the change of plans has actually led to us saving money and going to some place new, so it has definitely worked out well.

Speaking of the surgery, another goal of mine was to finally get a real understanding as to what is going on with my body. I wanted answers and to not have to continuously go back and forth to doctors surgeries anymore. Thankfully, the start of the year marked another great outcome, as I got seen by an ENT team who really understood the pain that I am in with my nose.

They took one look and instantly saw what I have been telling so many other hospitals and doctors, meaning I am now booked in and waiting to have the septoplasty and turbinate reduction that will hopefully bring me some peace at last. As well, I was finally seen about my ongoing lung infection and cavity, which has thankfully stayed the same, meaning I don’t have to have the major surgery on that for now.

I have also spent a lot of this year trying to make little improvements to my overall routine. There have been a number of slip ups, I won’t lie lovelies, however, I have not given up and am trying now to really staple it down and get back on track.

I am still yet to find a new volunteering opportunity or to meet new people but I feel like I have made some new friends through my mum’s work. I am also getting a little bit happier day after day I feel too. It was a big goal of mine to find something within each day to smile about and I truly think I have. Even when we have faced some tough family moments!

Overall, I think my hopes and dreams are slowly being achieved and I have all the fingers crossed to make it to the end of the year with all of them complete! If the rest of 2026 is as progressive as the start of it was, I will end the year a very very happy girl!

How are your goals for the year going lovelies? Let me know, as I would love to hear all about them!
