Refresh Your Skincare Routine With Altruist's New Moisturiser
00:00:00With the sunshine now appearing mostly every day, the urge to bark in it is growing! However, whilst a little Vitamin D is very good for us, the damage that the sun can also cause is not so great! Therefore, I couldn’t wait to find out all about the new moisturiser from Altruist, which promises to brighten our skin, whilst also protecting it!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Many of us will have risen today to see the beautiful sunshine outside our homes, as the spring weather is truly upon us. As someone who loves to get out in it, I strive to make sure that my face gets its daily dose of Vitamin D. However, as I have gotten older, I have found that this urge is also marked with a little bit of anxiety.
Having witnessed my mum suffering from skin cancer, I know that protecting all areas of our body is key. Something that has led me to also looking very pale at times, which often gets remarked on. Growing up, I was very lucky to have obtained my dad’s Sicilian skin, making it easy for me to tan. Yet, with the woes of my mum’s health scare, I don’t seek to bathe in it like I once did.
Instead, I seek to get out in it, whilst also slavered in the best SPF items around to help create that much needed barrier to safety. An element that the fantastic brand Altruist knows is important to not just me but to most of us. Trusting them last summer with many of their helpful skincare items, I found them to be fantastic at preventing burning or dark marks from appearing. Yet, sadly it couldn’t reverse the redness and pigmentations caused from past damage.
Until now, as the brand has made a wonderful new Anti-Redness and Pigmentation SPF 50 Moisturiser, which embodies a green tint and day cream all in one. Created to help all types of skin, but mostly those with hypersensitive and redness-prone skin, the cream is super light, in no way oily and perfect as a base under makeup to help protect the skin at all times. Plus, it is also waterproof, meaning it remains on when those unexpected showers hit.
As someone who can’t bear to be sticky or to feel like I have an oily face, when I put the sample I was kindly sent to the test, I was amazed at how easy it was applied and stayed. Popping it on first thing in the morning, after my shower, it stayed put all day, with not much need to reapply it. Upon wishing to take it off, I found my skin to be softer, less red and any pimples or spots that the hot weather causes were gone. I was in awe at the results. So much so that I even used the cream at night to get the best results.
With only a few weeks to go until the sun really beams down on us, this moisturiser is a must to make sure that your skin is prepared ahead of the season. In fact, it is a ust for the whole year, as it provides a beautiful remedy to cure any red marks or pigments on the skin.
Wearing it as I write this post, I am so thankful that Altruist made it, as I feel like my skin is the best it has been in a long time. To find out more about it lovelies or to purchase it, head to their website, which also features a number of other fab products that will take you from day to night! You won’t regret it lovelies!
