Find out all about it right here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Can you believe that in just a few days we will be saying goodbye to 2025? It has been a very weird year I have to say but one I am thankful to have experienced. There have been moments I wish to forget but many that I have loved and always will.
From trips abroad to my favourite place on earth to a reawakening of how I want my life to be, 2025 has made me a whole lot more confident about my future and what it may bring. Below are five moments from the past year that led to it being a great one…
Turning 30: The biggest moment of the year for me was turning 30! As a child of the 90s, I wanted it to be full of nostalgia and it was. We went to my favourite place on earth to celebrate and recalled moments from my 21st birthday, which was spent there too. Becoming 30 made me really think about my life. The people and places in it. My future and what I want in it. The way I want to feel and how I want to navigate the next decade. The way I will be handling my health in the future. I feel so much more confident about the future and I am thankful for this year bringing a new time in my life.
Dublin In July: Oh Dublin! The place that owns my heart, body and soul. Getting on the plane to go back there in July led me to crying tears of joy. When we came home, I cried tears of sadness. Dublin is my happy place. I feel safe, secure and confident. I love the people. I love its rich history. I love the bars and I don’t even drink! No one ever looks upset in Dublin and for good reasons. Celebrating my birthday there will be a moment that I will never forget. Even when I move there to live in the future aha!
Finding Out About My Health: After a year of not knowing a lot about my health, I am still in a bit of a limbo with it all. Yet, I feel like I am finally getting some answers and results. Just before we went away, I had a repeat bronchoscopy, which I am getting the full results of in January. I was able to get help with some sinus issues too, which I am also on the waiting list to find out the next steps on how the team at the hospital can help. The hospital that has gone above and beyond this year, especially when it comes to my allergies, which I found I have a lot of. Getting diagnosed with autism and finally discovering more about myself. Knowing this information makes me feel more confident about getting answers and results in the new year.
My Mum Getting The All Clear: Last year, my mum was told that she had a small cancerous lump by her eye. It was terrifying to hear, even when the doctor reassured us. After an operation this year, she was given the all clear and I was so incredibly thankful that she was okay. Even though she has still had issues with her eye, she is now being well looked after and on the mend.
Christmas 2025: From the moment December arrived, we went full on Christmas celebratory mode. My mum had some time off at the start of the month, so we were able to do a number of festive things before going on a Christmas cruise and big Christmas shop. Christmas is the most important time of the year to me and all my big moments come from it. I will never not love Christmas! I seriously think it is in my blood!
