Good Morning Lovelies,
Since September, my home has been kitted out in autumn and Halloween pieces that fill my heart with joy! I have truly embraced the spooky season and am full on planning what I am going to do on the big day to celebrate with others!
Starting with a very special breakfast for my mum, which is a real monster mash in a bowl. Get ready for a delicious trip to a very spooky place with this graveyard breakfast parfait recipe…
Ingredients
Vanilla or Chocolate Yogurt
Crushed Chocolate Biscuits
Plain Rectangle Shaped Biscuits
Banana Slices
Pretzel Sticks
White Chocolate Chips or Mini Marshmallows
Black Icing Pen
Tools
Clear Cups or Glasses
Spoons
Method
- Taking your cup, layer some of the yogurt into the bottom of it, along with the crushed biscuits to make a dirt effect.
- Once layered, add in a few of the banana slices on their sides to give a bones poking out look.
- Grab your pretzel sticks and break them in half before scattering on top to look of the yogurt to look like wood debris.
- Take your chocolate chips or marshmallows and use the black icing pen to draw eyes and a mouth on it like a skull. Add to the top of your creation.
- Once you have placed everything how you would like it, top the pieces with more biscuits to give a flat ground effect.
- Finish the breakfast dish by adding the rectangle shaped biscuit to the dish, sticking up like a tombstone. Add an iced RIP to it if you want to add an even spookier effect before tucking it!
This recipe is so easy, super fun and one that the whole family will love this Halloween! Even the ghosts and ghouls will want to take a bit out of it!
