What I Watched During September 2025

When I was patiently waiting for the weekly episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty to land, I got stuck in to a whole load of new series and films throughout September! Including a new firm favourite that I desperately need a second series of! Find out what was making me stay stucked on the very edge of my seat whilst watching here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

We can all safely say that we are officially in the cosy seasons of the year, as the shows and films landing on our screens are incredible! Made to binge in one go under a fluffy blanket, I couldn’t keep up with all of what I was seeing. There was just to much to handle!

However, there were many that I did watch, including an Irish based show that had taken over my life. If you thought I was a fan of Stephen Knight due to Peaky Blinders, you haven’t seen anything yet! Find out what I watched during September 2025 here…

House Of Guinness: You all know that I love anything to do with Ireland and the Peaky Blinders. This series based on the story of the children at the heart of the Guinness dynasty, written by Stephen Knight, the man behind one of my favourites TV shows, has well and truly filled the hole that it left. I’m obsessed to the point that I may just binge it over and over again.

The Wrong Paris: Autumn is the perfect season to curl up and watch cheesy films, which this film definitely is. However, it is cheesy in a good way! Miranda Cosgrave leads the way in this Bachelor type feature film, which is just a lot of fun.

Educating Yorkshire: This series should have come back a long time ago! I’ve loved them since my cousin’s school appeared in the Essex based one. Yet, none of them were as good as the Yorkshire focused one. The teachers and students are so interesting to watch and you really start routing for them all to do well.

The Thursday Murder Club: Every month, me and my mum try to watch a film we haven’t seen before. At the start of September, we snuggled up one afternoon to watch this hit. Whilst I haven’t been able to get really hooked in to the book, I loved this film version of it. Helen Mirren is such a babe!

The Great British Bake Off: Autumn doesn’t truly begin until The Great British Bake Off returns to our screens! I don’t know what has happened to me this year but I’m fully invested in the bakers and their creations. I love them all! Though not as much as I love Noel Fielding!

What have you lovelies all been watching over the past month? Let me know and I will take a look!
