The Staycity Tivoli Hotel In Dublin Is The Place To Stay!

00:00:00

Have you ever stayed in a place that feels like home from the moment you arrive? That was what we got when we arrived at the Staycity Tivoli Apartments in Dublin! Every staff member, every room and every situation we faced was dealt with true care, attention and professionalism, which I can’t praise enough! Find out why we loved it so much here!

Good Morning Lovelies,

As we come to the end of my dedicated Dublin filled week, I thought I would share with you all my experience of staying at the Staycity Tivoli Apartments in Dublin. Based right in the heart of the city, you can reach everything in just a few minutes and if not the ease of getting a bus or taxi makes it even better.

We arrived at the apartments at around 6pm, having booked our stay with our flights through British Airways. I hadn’t really looked up what it was going to be like, only looking at the images available on the booking page, which looked fab, and the location. From the moment we stepped in the door we were greeted with a smile and friendly face.

Taking my name, the team checked us in to room 147 in seconds, before handing us two card keys and a handy pamphlet showing us where we could find all the information needed. They then took us to the lifts, pressing the button to get us to our floor. During the booking process, I had requested an accessible room to help both my mum and I with our disabilities.

When we got to the room, we found that this had been given, plus so much more. The room had a lot of space, as well as storage areas that meant we could get around with no worries. To one side of the room, we had a kitchen that was fully equipped with a hob, oven/grill microwave, two types of bins, a dishwasher, a fridge with a freezer, every cutlery and utensil needed, pots and pans, oven dishes and jugs, an Nespresso machine and pods, plus much more. They even gave us Fairy washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets.

On the other side, we had a huge bathroom with a seated shower area and handles, heated towel rails, towels and bath mats. Plus, shampoo, body wash and hand wash too. Honestly, if the room could include it they had it. There was even a safe, ironing board and iron. All at no extra costs.

Facing our double bed, we had a flat screen TV, which had all the Freeview channels, as well as Netflix, YouTube and Disney Plus. If you didn’t fancy sitting in bed to watch these, you could sit on a comfy chair at the table underneath it.

The hotel room was a real dream from the moment we stepped in it but I have to say that the staff were what made our stay so fantastic. Especially one of the night staff members, who offered to help with a card payment, found my mum a load of butter samples, let me use the kitchens equipment when needed and helped with our air conditioner. He honestly was amazing and always so happy to help.

As were the cleaning staff that we met on day three, as they had to help fix a blockage in our shower that caused the great flood of Dublin as we like to call it. Using endless towels and devices to clean up our room, they told us that it had occurred due to a previous guest losing a hair clip down the drain.

They never once put the blame on us and even said it would be no problem to move us if we would have preferred to be. We didn’t though, as we had really fallen for our room by this point. Plus, whilst we were out they had come in and done a deep clean of the room to make it right. Something we never asked them to do.

When it came to moving around the city, we could get to the Jameson Distillery, the Guinness Storehouse, Dublinia, The Temple Bar, Christ Church Cathedral and even more in literally ten minutes by foot. If you have any issues walking though, the hotel was two minutes away from a bus stop, plus the staff would happily call for a taxi if needed. They did this for us on our last day to the airport in fact.

Speaking of our last day, we were happily advised that the hotel would be able to store our cases, free of charge, until we needed to go to the airport. Something we had thought we would have had to pay for. Locking them away in a safe room, we were given a card with a number to present when we needed them, which made us feel so safe.

Overall, our stay at the Staycity Tivoli in Dublin, was amazing. Everything was completely and utterly better than we expected. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to deliver great customer service. The room was a ten out of ten in every way. Even when we had our flooding accident, we felt sad that we may have had to have left it.

Upon leaving the hotel, the manager of it came to say goodbye to us. A fact that neither me or my mum was expecting. She wished me a belated birthday, popped the card we gave her on the bar and wished us well before telling us that we were always welcome back. Something I truly cherished, as you all know how much I want to make Dublin my permanent home. We both promised her that we would be back soon and we meant it!

If you have a holiday to Dublin coming up, book into one of the Staycity hotels lovelies! Especially the Tivoli! You will be treated like royalty in every single way! It’s a Dublin sight to behold for all the right reasons!
