Growing up, you could not get me out of the bath! I loved to spend hours in there! I would gather all my toys and make potions and magic with them. Honestly, my mum would have to drag me out at times, as I just loved being in the water so much. However, in recent years, showers have taken over my life. A fact I do get sad about! 

The toys that I used to enjoy were real classic 90s items. I’m talking stacking cups. Squirty fish. Random waterfall machines. They were all so iconic to the era. Yet, times have definitely changed and in many ways for the better. Especially thanks to brands like Ubbi.

Kindly, the team behind the brand sent me a few items to try. A fact that at 30 years of age excited me. Upon opening the parcel, I was faced with two toy sets and a tool for the bathroom that was a real game changer for us. We started with the toys first though. 

Much like the classic squirty animals I had as a child, the brand’s, Interchangeable Bath Toys, were fantastic in creating fun. Available in two different coloured sets, little ones can pour, fill and change the animal shaped bodies around. 

At £9 each, they are worth every penny, as not only were they fun to play with and test but we also discovered that they are built to be mould resistant too. In fact, they can even go in the dishwasher to be cleaned. This means that they will last for ever making them a really cost effective toy that can be passed down for years to come. 

The item though that we found real joy in was the Bath Toy Drying Bin. With a friendly face imprinted onto it, the bin is designed to scoop, store and dry items that have been in the bath in a matter of minutes. With a handy handle and removable lower section that collects the water to be poured away, the bin allowed us to not have to worry about any water damaging our bathroom. 

We have tested the bin not only on toys but to store other items in our bathroom too and we love it. It’s a piece of equipment that will see families through the years for many different things and at £19.99, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Even when the children have flown the nest, it will last on and become a family heirloom. 

Having not heard much about Ubbi before, I was really pleased with what I found. The bin is a new staple in our home, whilst the toys have gone on to delight a nursery full of kids that my mum works with. She has told me many times that she can’t get them away from them at playtime.
