Now that we are heading towards the autumn months, I am officially getting super excited for Christmas! I’ve seen the chocolate tubs in the shops! I’ve started planning my decorations and my mum has even selected the advent calendar she wants this year! It’s time to celebrate the best time of the year by finding what we did in July to get ready!

Good Morning Lovelies, 

Can you believe that in just a few months it will be Christmas! I for one am very excited, as to me it is the best time of the year! I’ve been planning for it since the last one ended but in July I did something that I do normally wait until later on in the year to do. 

After a friend gifted me some euros to celebrate my birthday, she told me to buy a Guinness with it. As someone who doesn’t drink, I wondered what I could do to mark the idea and when I spotted something in the Guinness Storehouse, I knew what it had to be. I brought my first Christmas decoration! 

For seven euros, I brought my own version of a pint of Guinness in all its sparkling glory. With the read head on it and no chance to fail at splitting the G on it, the decoration was me all over and is now sitting safely with our other decorations ready to take pride of place in December. 

My friend loved the idea that I had come up with too, which made it even more special to me. It is a festive delight that will remind me of my favourite country every time I see it shining amongst the lights on the tree.
