Plus, it can also lead to some nasty breakouts too. Therefore, I have been looking for something that protects my skin but doesn’t cause issues like these. 

I was so thankful when the brand Altruist offered me the chance to try their new SPF 50 oily skin sun cream, which has been made to suit all skin types, but especially oily kinds. Created to celebrate their 10th anniversary, the new item is light, oil-free and smooth to apply. 

Popping open the bottle, there was a subtle but not too over-powering scent that rested on my body with ease. Leaving behind a silky texture, I didn’t feel like my skin was craggy or sticky, which I was so grateful for. Knowing as well that it is made from natural vegan ingredients also reassured me. 

Especially when I applied the facial cream, with the same SPF rating. Soothing some of the little bouts of redness I get, my skin looked better at the end of the day and truly lasted until then too. I couldn’t believe that it had, as it felt like I had nothing on my face, but I was so pleased it did. 

Knowing my whole body can be covered and protected without any discomfort is a real joy. Super affordable to buy, at £9.50, it is worth every single penny. To be able to face the summer sun and not be uncomfortable under it is a real joy. I feel like I can now embrace the rays without worrying.
