The warm weather is truly settling in and that makes choosing what to wear very important! You want to find something to keep cool but still stylish! You want a look that can take you from day to night! You want something that will be office and comfy moments ready! Thankfully, the wonders at Helly Hansen have created just what we all need!

There are only a few weeks to go until I head off to Dublin for my birthday and discussions as to what to pack have turned serious. I never like to get too hot, yet, I want to look cool and stylish too. As someone who goes on holiday to explore, my choices are also all about this, as I wanted to move with ease throughout each day. 

This made a very special email from Helly Hansen absolutely incredible to me when it landed in my inbox. With a whole new collection to suit every need this summer and beyond will bring, the team asked me if I would like to put together an outfit from the range. You can bet I said yes!

With my holiday in mind, I decided to pick the essentials I would need, whilst also thinking about what would keep me cool, cosy and feeling stylish. Here are the five pieces I loved and couldn’t recommend enough after being sent a few samples to test them. I think you may find a piece for you too lovelies…

Women’s Tofino Solen Short Sleeve Dress, £80: Perfect for those late spring days and early summer adventures, this dress features something I have never seen or experienced before. A 50 UPF material that protects you from solar rays in both wet and cold conditions. Super light, with an adjustable neckline and pockets, you couldn’t ask for more from a summer dress. I even debated wearing it to bed, as I was so comfy in it. 

Women’s Core Sweat Shorts, £45: Lounging by the pool or heading out for a stroll, these French terry cotton shorts will give you the flexibility that you need lovelies. Super comfortable, I loved wearing these under the dress whilst walking around my local area or doing jobs around my house. Plus, the colour match made them feel like the ultimate co-ord.

Women's H/H Slides, £35: Forget packing those uncomfortable flip flops! With a wonderful light sage colour top and base, they not only match the dress and shorts, they make moving from sand to sea a comfortable trek. Once you pop these padded wonders on you won’t wear anything else all summer. I may wear mine with fluffy socks in winter in fact lovelies, as they are that comfy. 

H/H Graphic Cap, £35: When I go out on my walks, I do worry about how much sun my head is getting. This vintage looking cap is not only stylish but it will keep those woes at bay. Easily adjustable, the light colour will keep your head comfy and cool thanks to the corduroy fabric.  

H/H Scout Duffel, £80: Finding a bag that will fit everything I need as hand luggage without being too big and bulky has been hard. Yet, this duffel has solved all my pains. Fitting up to 30-litres, the duffel has a big U opening, with back straps to turn it into a rucksack, inner pockets to keep shoes or dirty clothes away from clean clothing and a fully 600D nylon material that makes it extra waterproof. This will be going to Dublin and on our holiday cruise later this year. In fact, it will probably be going everywhere with me now!
