Mondays are often seen as the worst day of the week, which I have to agree with you lovelies! It seems to be the day that drags the most! However, with a few little changes, you can all get a bit of rest and relaxation from the moment you open your eyes! Discover my top tips to make Mondays so much better here!

Good Morning Lovelies, 


Growing up, the thought of Monday morning coming around or arriving was awful! The thought of having to get up for another week at school was the worst in the world. Something that continued into my adult life, as I hated my commute to work or having to get up at 6am to be weighed in hospital. 


Therefore, the start of the new week often brought a bit of a downfall in my mood. Until recently! Using simple and easy tips, which I have gathered over the last few months, I have managed to make the start of a new week a bit better. 


I thought it would be nice to share five of them with you lovelies to hopefully improve your day today! Get ready to rest and relax with these simple ideas on how to make your Monday a whole lot better…


Set Your Alarm To Play Your Favourite Song: Forget having that skull blaring siren like alarm noise, which instantly puts me in a bad mood, and ask or set your alarm to play your favourite song. Then tell your brain and body to get up and dance to start the day in a fun way! 


Have A Midday Treat Break: Even if you have had your lunch break, take a midday treat break. Whether it be five, ten or 15 minutes, enjoy something that you love for an allotted time to help your spirits rise. Listen to an audiobook chapter, watch some YouTube or journal. The options are endless.


Host A Themed Dinner: I’m not talking about meat free Mondays. No, go for a really fun idea, eating what you want to lovelies. Whether it be a Movie Inspired Monday, where you cook dishes from your favourite films to try or a mini buffet, go wild and have fun. Plus, it will give you something fun to think about during the day. 


Learn A New Word Ever Day: If you are like me than you love to learn new things everyday. Take the time during your daily commute to discover a new word and teach yourself everything about it. You will get off your bus, train or even plane feeling better from having learnt something new. 


Treat Yourself To A New Bedtime Routine Item: Cosy socks, new PJs, an eye mask with a funny slogan, a fresh journal, a bedroom linen spritz and snacks for your bedside cabinet drawer. A little gift at the end of the day can make getting those important hours of rest even better. 


By adding these little bits of joys into your Monday will make the experience of starting a new week a lot better lovelies! You may even forget about the Sunday scares with these moments in mind!
