St Patrick’s Day Week: The Iconic Places In Dublin You Have To Visit
00:00:00As someone who has been to Dublin, I am very lucky to have done lots of the main attractions that are based there! Having used a tourism pass, I was given access to some beautifully iconic sites, which I loved every second of! However, with so much on offer in the city, I thought I would share a few you simply can’t miss!
Good Morning Lovelies,
As we delve deeper into our St Patrick’s Day week lovelies, I thought it would be nice to share the places in Dublin that are areal joy to visit. The city has so much to offer, with an incredible amount of history embedded inside. This makes every venue, park and more iconic.
Yet, if you don’t have a lot of time to enjoy them or are not sure which ones to make sure to visit, I thought it would be nice to share a few that I think are must see lovelies! Of course, there are so many more I could add to the six below, however, these are the ones that I really think you should celebrate St Patrick’s Day and beyond at…
Guinness Storehouse: It is safe to say that you cannot go to Dublin without taking a trip to the Guinness Storehouse. Learn everything to know about the iconic drink whilst overlooking Dublin City and testing the drink within the brewery too.
Dublin Castle: When I went to Dublin, we literally stayed right next to the castle. Free to walk around, you can visit the beautiful gardens and the outside areas of the castle, which often host many special events within them. In the spring or summer sunshine it is beautiful, whilst at Christmas it is turned into a winter wonderland, with a Christmas market there too.
Jameson’s Distillery Tour: I wasn’t someone who knew a lot about Jameson’s whiskey before I went to Dublin. However, I was left in awe after doing this tour. I actually preferred it to the Guinness one. Make sure to visit it before the angels take all of their shares.
Grafton Street: You can’t visit Dublin without taking a little shopping trip on this street! Full to the brim with iconic shops including Dunnes, Pennies and even one of the last remaining Disney Stores, you will definitely need to buy another suitcase before coming home.
The Little Museum of Dublin: Based inside this museum are incredible amounts of iconic Irish memorabilia. You can go around it on your own lovelies or with a tour guide. A real gem in it is the U2 dedicated room. You will leave singing along to their iconic songs that don’t leave your head until you come home.
Christ Church Cathedral: Based inside this church is Dublinia, which is another epic experience. Yet, the real gem that makes this church so special is the access to the tower. Once you go up there, you can see literally the whole of Dublin and it is beautiful.
There is so much I could suggest lovelies, however, if you are only going on a short trip, make sure to take a dive into one of these places! You will instantly feel an abundance amount of love for the city when you do!
