With the new year upon us, we are all thinking about if there are any changes that we want to make to our lives! Something I will be working on this year is my health, including my families, to help make 2025 a lot better for us all! Therefore, I have been testing lots of products to find out which ones really work!

Health is high on my list of things to work on in 2025. With lots still going on with conditions found in 2024, I want to make sure that I can be the best I can be for the surgeries and situations I am facing. Therefore, I have been trying lots of products, many that were kindly gifted to me, to see which ones really work. 

From probiotics to help treat my gut health to lotions and creams to fix my dry skin, there are incredible products out there. Including these incredible six, which I wanted to share with you all lovelies! They are…

Pro-ven Biotics Adult Acidophilus & Bifidus 30 Capsules, £16.99: After a long course of antibiotics last year, my doctor told me to try some probiotics to get my gut health back to a good standard. After trying one kind, I was also advised to change it up a bit to make my bacteria not become used to it. These capsules were better than the first kind and really helped me. Calming my IBS, I was less bloated and found eating a lot more comfortable. Something I also found when trying their ShapeLine capsules for a week and their For Women tablets too, which were fab at helping me after my smear test.

Epaderm Cream (50g/150g), From £3.10: Suffering from Raynaud’s during winter is horrific. As soon as the weather changes, my hands and face become incredibly dry. For years, I’ve been using Epimax, however, it didn’t seem to be fixing my hands as well as it once did. Epaderm was fantastic at soothing the splits and cuts that the condition caused, easing the pain it brings. Using it continuously, morning and night, my hands are back to how they normally are. Something I am very thankful about!

Paused.com Peri-menopause All In One Blend, £19.99: 2025 marks the year that I turn 30 and whilst I may be a little way off the menopause, I wanted to share to start looking after my hormones. Covering all the key areas that may decrease, these capsules, which should be taken whole with water or a meal, help boost energy levels, keep the reproductive system well and supports the regulation of hormones too. As someone who hasn’t had a period in a long time, I felt reassured whilst taking this that it was helping. 

Pro-ven Biotics Fit For School 30 Chewable Tablets, £15.99: Made for children, these chewable capsules have something in them that many don’t! A probiotic to keep their gut health well, I thought these were fantastic. With kids so easily attractable to germs, these vitamins will give their immune system the boost it needs to fight them off. I’m handing these to my nephew to stop him attracting so many colds this year. 

Paused.com Sleep Aid, £19.99: Since I was in hospital, I really struggle to sleep. I wake up at the lightest of sounds and find that I can’t get to sleep for hours. Any help I can get is needed, which was why I was so interested in these capsules. Popping two of them before bed, it took around an hour to feel the effects, however, they definitely happened. Instantly I felt calmer before drifting off into a deep sleep that left me feeling refreshed. I use these every time I struggle to get any rest now.

Epaderm Junior Ointment, From £6.30: Fantastic for younger members of my family, this was perfect over Christmas when a little one in our family hurt themselves. Easing any pain they had, it stopped the area from bruising too, whilst stopping the plaster from hurting their skin. It also kept the skin soft whilst healing. Perfect to keep in any medical bags for the whole family to use!

Having tested all of these products myself, I can definitely confirm that they work fantastically! I will use these and advise friends and family to try them for a long time to come. Especially the Epaderm cream, which is now a firm favourite of mine! I would honestly be lost without it now! I hope that you can all them too lovelies!
