Blogmas Day Three: My November 2024 Food & Drink Finds
00:00:00November was definitely the start of the cold months, which meant that I was seeking comforting warm foods. However, I was struggling still at the start, so I dug deep into the drinks aisle as well! You all know that I love a squash and I found the ultimate remake last month! Find out all about my new food and drink finds here!
Good Morning Lovelies,
At the start of November, I had my wisdom tooth out, which led to a lot of problems health wise. This led to me wanting a lot of fluids instead of meals, yet, I didn’t want to get bored. Therefore, I seeker out the best new finds in the drinks aisle to help me.
With so many options to pick from, I have gathered quite a few in my cupboard. Alongside a few new food finds too. Discover what really stood out to me upon trying them below lovelies…
Aldi Everyday Essentials Strawberry Jam, 39p: I like to pop a dollop of jam onto my cereal every morning and this has been a real winner. Full of real strawberry flavours and tasting super fresh but not overly sweet, this is fantastic for the price.
Good Earth Lemon, Turmeric and Ginger Tea, £3: After hearing so much about hoe good ginger is for your stomach, I decided to try and have some ginger tea during the afternoon. This tea is a little pricey for me, however, it has really helped ease any indigestion I have suffered. I like to add a squirt of orange to this just to lighten it up a bit though.
Aldi Gnocchi, £1.19: I used to have this a lot but stopped and then got scared of it. Before the year ended, I decided to challenge myself to having it again. Every time I’ve managed to I’ve reminded myself why it was such a favourite. The packets are super sized meaning I get two meals for a great cost.
Iceland Country Mix, £2: Last month, I told you about my love for their floret mix. Now, I am obsessed with this country mix, which includes peas, carrots and florets. I love to smother it in gravy with a big jacket potato on cold nights.
Aldi Fruit-o No Added Sugar Mixed Fruit Squash, £1.15: My love for Vimto is strong and nothing will ever beat it. However, whilst shopping in Aldi, I spotted this dupe and it is lush! A bit more subtle in taste, it is honestly delicious and perfect warmed up on a cold day. You can keep your mulled wines, I’m all about this squash right now.
What foods and drinks did you lovelies enjoy in November?
Best,
Joey X
