Summer for me is when my skin goes through the most trauma. From recent medicine usage to the ever changing English weather, my skin doesn’t know what to do with itself most of the time. Breaking out at times, especially around my nose and chin area, I’ve recently discovered the wonders of a pimple patch. 

Easy to apply, the little round patches just stick to your face, drawing out all the horrors of the spot. Leaving clearer and less angry looking skin. Normally, I buy my patches from Amazon, however, recently the team at Absorbzit sent me a selection of theirs to try. And I’m now obsessed. 

Arriving in three different sizes, the invisible, waterproof stickers, are applied in the same way. Yet,these ones were moisturiser and make up proof too. This means that once on, you can follow your normal make up routine alongside it. 

Pulling the boxes out of their packaging, I found that I had been sent the Everyday, Overnight and the VIP packages to trial. Taking the Everyday ones first, I cleansed my face, before pulling out one of the ultra thin patches. Sticking it to the side of my nose, it easily smoothed itself down onto my skin. I couldn’t feel it all, even when I applied my face cream. 

Following the packs instructions, I left it for four hours, before removing it and washing my skin. Whilst there was still a little trace of the spot, it was so much better. The redness was gone. It no longer hurt. Plus, there seemed to be a smoother feeling around the area. 

Allowing it to breathe for the evening, I let my skin rest before doing my nighttime skincare routine. After washing my face, I took out one of the Overnight samples to try. Advised to leave it on during the whole time I was asleep, I popped it over the mark remaining and headed off into the land of nod. 

Following a good night’s rest, I woke up to find the patch hadn’t moved at all. What had moved was the horrid spot that had been there. All traces of it had gone, which meant I didn’t have to take further steps and use the VIP patch. However, from reading all about them, they are the perfect addition to anyone’s beauty regime if they suffer from acne, as the patches go deep into the skin to bring down inflammation and white heads before they occur. 

The Everyday and Overnight patches had done just what I needed them to do. Both had removed the spot, way before it got any worse, which I was eternally grateful for. If the spots on my chin get bad, I often find myself facing cystic acne, which is incredibly painful. 

At just 22p a patch, the boxes are well worth the money, as there are 30 odd ones in each box, apart from the VIP ones, which has nine larger ones. You will find yourself saving a lot of money too, as the stickers remove the issues in just one go, meaning you won’t have to use multiple ones.
