What Did I Do To Prepare For Christmas In July?
00:00:00We are ebbing towards the winter months and I can’t wait! Sorry lovelies! With Christmas nearing, the chocolate boxes returning to our supermarkets and the weather making us want to put up our Christmas trees, I am in full festive mode. To the point that I did something very festive in July to mark my birthday! And it was very very festively good!
Good Morning Lovelies,
Can you believe that in four months Christmas trees will be going, the best festive songs are going to be played in every shop and the supermarkets will be loaded with party foods, as we prepare to celebrate Christmas! I’m so pumped for it!
The next few months are some of my favourites! September marks a refresh. October brings autumn and Halloween. November welcomes Bonfire Night and the start of the festivities. Whilst December is just the best.
To prepare for Christmas, I did something big in July. Celebrating my birthday was marked with a full on Christmas dinner. I like to try and mark the day by tackling a fear food or meal, which led me to choosing my mum’s classic Christmas dinner. Stuffing, bread sauce, potatoes and veg! All topped with gravy!
My mum helped me have it by suggesting that it was a test run for December! We were sampling like they do in the shops before they put out the goods. I loved this idea, as it made it easier for me and my ED to try and comprehend. Plus, the meal was delicious.
For the festivities, I faced my fear, had a fab birthday dinner and am now confident what I want on Christmas Day. An element that will make December a whole lot easier when it comes to the cooking.
If you can lovelies, even in the middle of a heatwave, try and do a test run Christmas dinner. It will help you remember what you like and don’t, whilst any leftovers may be able to be frozen until the actual day too. Winner winner, Christmas dinner!
